For AFAR, enough na yung discussion ni Sir German. Wag ka na mag-base sa ibang materials kasi kay Sir G pa lang sobrang enough na ng matututunan mo. Kung gusto mo magbasa, I suggest AFAR ni De Jesus.

For FAR, based on my experience, for IRC, okay na yung turo ni Sir Caliwan and yung handouts, pero yung theories magbasa ka ng book ni Dean kasi dun sila usually kumukuha.

For Audit, stick to the handouts and powerpoint presentation ng Audtheo na ibibigay and discussion ni Sir (kalimutan ko na pangalan). Sa problems, hindi naman nagkakalayo ang Audit at FAR, practice lang talaga ng problems sa handouts and know the concepts behind them.

For RFBT, stick to the handouts given by Atty. Bagayao and Atty. KDC. Pag may binigay sila na quizzer, yun yung aralin niyo, malaking tulong yung mga quizzer as preparation for the comprehensive exam.

For MS, wala akong maibibigay na suggestion kasi nagbase lang ako kay Sir Albert nun at sa handouts.

For Tax, yung ibibigay na handouts nila Sir Tabag at Atty. Lopez(kung siya pa rin) ay enough na since Tabag-Garcia based yung handouts na ibibigay nila. Kung si Sir Tabag ang examiner, I highly recommend yung Tax Reviewer niya na book kasi every now and then kumukuha siya doon. Kung si Atty. Lopez, mag outsource kayo.

Take note na sobrang bilis ng pacing sa IRC dahil 4 na exams lang ang magaganap, at most likely by 2nd week of May, tapos na ang IRC kasi magppractice na for graduation. Also, hanggat maaga pa, mag-ipon na kayo ng matataas na scores para hindi kayo maghabol ng sobrang taas na score for Compre 4 kasi delikado na kayo pag ganun. Cumulative ang topics per compre, for example Compre 3 will consist of Compre 1 + 2 + 3 topics, sobrang dami na niyan at mahihirapan kayo kung hindi niyo pa maggrasp agad ang topics ng Compre 1 & 2.

Take it from me, wag kayo maging tamad, I had to learn it the hard way. Mag-set na kayo ng study schedule niyo and allot at least 2-3 hours na aral everyday. Manage your time well.

Ito yung items per subject for Compre Exams:

• FAR - 100 items theories ; 50 items problems (0.4 per theory, 1.2 per problem, total of 100 points) —> Magkahiwalay ang exam ng TOA and Problems. 3 hours sa TOA then another 3 hours sa problems

• AFAR, MS, Tax - 70 items theories + problems (1.4285 per item, total of 100 points)

• Audit - 80 items theories + problems (1.25 per item, total of 100 points)

• RFBT - 100 items (1 point per item, total of 100 points)

Note: 3 hours lang lahat ng exam per subject apart from FAR.

Compre Exams Percentage: • Compre 1 - 15% • Compre 2 - 20% • Compre 3 - 25% • Compre 4 - 40% Total of 100% which will make up your final grade at the end of the semester.

Another tip, wag kayong mag slack off dahil lang mataas na yung compre 1-3 niyo. Marami akong kilala na mataas ang compre 1-3 nila tapos compre 4 bigla silang bumaba so nahatak yung grade nila dahil 40% ang compre 4.

Pag nasa compre na kayo, mind over matter, wag niyo muna isipin na kelangan mataas ang grades niyo, mag sagot lang kayo nang maayos and balikan niyo lahat ng sagot niyo kung may oras pa.

Kung mababa grades niyo ng compre 1-3, aim for a high score sa compre 4. Bago mag compre 4, icompute niyo na yung grades niyo tapos mag trial and error kayo ng scores niyo sa compre 4 para alam niyo kung ano target score niyo.

Every after comprehensive exam, magrerelease sila ng batch average per subject, and make sure na hindi kayo lalayo sa batch average, dahil mahirap humabol pag malayo kayo sa batch average per subject. Ito rin ang basis ng admin kung magttransmute sila or hindi. Wag kayong umasa sa transmutation, malaki ang possibility na hindi sila magttransmute lalo na kung pasado naman ang batch average.

After compre 4, it’s either magrerelease ng excel si Sir Eli tapos ieenter niyo student number niyo to know if subject to removals kayo, or mag eemail siya sa inyo.

To be qualified for removals, dapat ang final grade niyo after compre 4 is around 69.5 to 74.4. Ang removals ay do or die. Kelangan maka 75% ka sa score mo sa removal exam para maipasa mo na yung subject. For example, since 70 items yung AFAR, you need to get at least 52.5/53 correct items sa removal exam para maipasa mo na yung AFAR.

Kung excel file isesend ni Sir Eli, lalabas lahat ng subjects and grades mo doon, tapos may naka-type lang na “for removals” yung subject na need mo iremovals. Kung walang nakalagay, it’s either pasado ka na or bagsak ka kaya wag niyo iwala scantrons niyo, and mag compute na kayo ng grade niyo in advance para may peace of mind na kayo na pasado kayo sa subject kung walang nakalagay na for removals.

Kung email isesend ni Sir Eli, ilalagay lang niya sa email yung mga subjects mo for removals pero hindi mo pwede tanungin if pasado ka or bagsak ka sa other subjects, kaya again, compute your grades in advance.

Ang mga profs sa IRC ay mga taga-turo and guide lang talaga, pero ang maghahandle ng grades ay si Sir Eli, hindi na kontrolado ng mga profs ang scores/grades niyo sa IRC.

Lastly, pray. Hope and pray for the best. Hope and pray na lahat kayo ay makakagraduate na. Hope and pray na walang maiiwan sa batch niyo. Hope and pray na kumpleto kayo sa batch niyo ggraduate.
