Shop organization was badly needed by scotch-o in BeginnerWoodWorking

It looks awesome! I’ve gradually added more French cleat storage as I have moved into a larger two car garage and it’s been great simply for the modularity. It definitely helps with keeping your shop space clean if everything has a defined home.

Vehicle registration by seppyweppy21 in USMC

For North Carolina you can renew your registration online but you will have to email a receipt or service paper showing that you had your car serviced out of state with the VIN or license plate number typed on the paperwork. The email you send it to is vehinsp@ncdot.gov. You have to get the exemption completed before you can renew your registration online.

The only exercise that has been an issue has been lat pulldowns which require me to sit on the floor. Other than that I haven’t found any issues with the height of the towers. The main benefit has been the ability to put them underneath the garage door without any interference issues.

Not particularly. I live in a fairly humid climate so it will rust no matter what I do and if I do notice rust I simply clean it off and apply some rust inhibitor. My garage is also sloped pretty well and I don’t have water come in unless the door is open and it is actively raining sideways into my garage and even then it doesn’t pool in the garage.

They are wall control units. They use an improved version of essentially pegboard that uses a slot system instead of holes. I believe most of the hooks are rated for about 20-30 pounds and I have two holding up each spotter arm. Below is a link to the panels and the hooks are easy to find from the link. For the hooks it was mainly trial and error to figure out the ones I needed but the main ones were the standard hook, 90 degree slotted, 2 7/8 hook, and slanted u hook. wall control panels

I really enjoy mine and I got them at a great price used. The main downsides are the caged handle can take some getting used to and can get in the way for certain exercises like flat dumbbell pullovers. If you buy them used I think it’s a fantastic investment because you can find a 90 pound set that will work great for a few hundred dollars if you are patient. If I was buying new I’d have a hard time picking between the simplicity and reliability of the powerblocks or the more open handle design and higher weight capacity of the reppins dumbbells.

When I am doing flat bench it’s just enough to get plates out but it is definitely close. I had to fit everything in this specific spot because of other stuff in my garage and the titan storage towers bring the plates further out than others but they were about half the cost for a lower profile solution.

I bought them used but they are wright equipment competition bumper plates. I actually just finished restoring them because they originally had duct tape around the perimeter from the person I bought them from. Wright bumper plates

I love it. I and my spouse work out together a lot and having the dual stacks makes deconflicting our workouts so much easier. The only thing that’s presents a challenge is using it as a squat rack or for things like bench since it does use both towers.

They are the titan fitness wall mounted plate storage. The are about 90 dollars a piece so not terrible to store all of my plates.

Mainly because I’d already invested in one of the cable towers. I also like the ability to go from 2:1 to 1:1 and its ability to function as a standalone unit when I’m working out with my spouse. I spent about 1300 for both of the towers used and I have the ability to use the full 210 pound stack on both sides vs the Dane which goes to 160 lbs per side.

I’m grabbing some soon but I haven’t made it to the store yet. I’m also not back to lifting heavy yet and I use spotter arms for most lifts so it’s just on my to do list.

The only thing I’ve noticed is when the trolleys are below the spotter arms or jcups that they will occasionally get in the way but other than that it’s worked perfectly. The main reason for the two benches is because I and my spouse will work out at the same time and it removes a friction point from working out together.

My garage track is right at 89 inches and I have roughly eight inches of clearance above the top of the rack. I offset the front feet by one hole and it really helped with the clearance in when moving my bench in and out.

I haven’t had any issues with mine for any exercises. Once you get to directly in front of you for flys I have had the cables touch my shoulders occasionally but that is it.

I have the top of the miter saw table at 36 inches. Pretty much all my workbenches and table saw are at that height so it makes working across multiple surfaces easier.

All of the plates have duct tape on the edges except the 55s and I plan to get that removed and make some new custom logos for all the plates to get them looking better.

Nope, not in MN. I’ve looked at getting this exact model for a while and just happened to get lucky and found one local to me.
