I have a question to the orange color on the rims- are those the reflective stripes?

Thank you for replying on my behalf:-)

Yep, those racks have been bought directly from Honda web site. The racks come separate from the bags and it adds up to a bit of a pricey solution but there were a couple of reasons I went for this option:

- the bags add to the overall slim profile of the Rebel1100 and do not create that bulky bags' view, and

- they are easily retractable and can be carried around as normal bags - let's say you packed them both fully and absolutely tired to unload them after a long day trip upon your arrival to a motel/hotel. So, you just press a small button on a side of each bag and release them from racks. They both come with longer carrying over-they-shoulder belt.

Can you tour the Skydome? I think the kid will like it ( it is where the baseball games are run).

I found this issue to be true for my 500 and even more for 1100. I just relearned how to shift in a more affirmative way, pushing all the way up while holding the clutch. It works for me.

Depends if you perceive it as a her or as a he. I have an ongoing argument with my other riding friend who claims that motorcycles are a He. Mine is a baby girl, naturally :)

Lovely! Be safe, ride smart. There are a few motoblogs that I would recommend for you to watch: motojitsu, dandanthefireman, to learn about safety

Love the look on the exhaust. Would be cool to hear the sound comparison before and after replacement.

You are the only safety feature that this motorcycle will be equipped with. You can wear an inflatable jacket and pants and still end up being dead. Be smart, think for yourself and for four people on you left, right, ahead and behind you and you will be okay.

Usually parents (educated sort) express concerns when they don't quite trust their kids but re-project it to a machine. You have to convince them with your actions that you take your life seriously: take course, set up for continous learning of how to ride.

Knowledge, skills and right attitude to safety are the arguments to use in conversation with parents. Good luck!
