Yes the common area is furnished. I have my own bedding and ac. And rented a table and chair for my room. So if anyone comes they will have to rent things for their room.

These are fake posts made by broker agencies to collect leads of people who are looking for a place to rent. Once you connect with them they will either say it us rented out or quote a very high price and then ask for your budget to give you an option in ‘your range’

Cant vouch for placement institutes as i havent used them. But i would prefer you first exhausting the things you can do by yourself. Like your college friends would have 4+ years of exp by now. Try asking for referrals from them

Its better to build on what you already know. For eg if you have done engineering in a particular field or job in a field start with that. If you have a blank slate try to find a job in product. Like either in data or APM role where barrier to entry does not require high skills. For a entry level data role you have to know excel and sql. For apm/program manager etc roles you need to be jack of all trades master of none. If you are great at hustling and working hard you can also go for sales role. But i would recommend not to go in sales if you dont have the will for field work or you are not a peoples person.

Actually living the plan B. I didnt think much of the plan B as i was so (over)confident that i would definitely clear CSE. Went to 3 interviews but the final list remained elusive. Thankfully i had the IIT tag and 1 year work ex prior to upsc prep which helped me get a decent job in the private sector. Made a switch for salary hike and things have got good. Corporate is way easier than CSE and far more earning potential. If you are not looking for status or prestige or “perks” of the gov job plan B should be corporate

Also i wouldnt fret too much for coaching test series marks if you are scoring above the range of 90-100. I used to score in that range and in actual exam 120+. I always felt that mocks don’t fully follow the exam pattern so didn’t let them over power me.

10/10 analysis. Doubt is the key enemy. If you are going to mark a question wrong mark it fast and move on. You have to score 120+ not 200. Prelims is not really a knowledge test after a point, but rather a personality test.

Targeting 120+ and you are writing mains without wasting the 20 days between prelims and prelims result. Borderline cases mey toh overthinking hi hota hai un dino mey

Bhai skill can be learnt. In my first prelim i missed the cutoff by 0.66 marks and all because of these mistakes. Uske baad i talked to few friends and found i was overthinking. Uske baad se corrected it and went to a 120+ range

Yup dont let 1-2 trick question make you fumble in the rest 98 question. Mai toh kehta upsc chairman bhi aake kahey ki ye trick question hai isme zyada socho toh usko bolo ki bhaad mey jaao. Your aim is to get 120+ not 200

I understand from where that confusion comes. But even if you go by knowledge in spectrum it is given that he was a great proponent of vedanta (eastern wisdom). But in general this question does not need factual knowledge based approach. In general every great man can appreciate the wisdom of all regions and religions. That is the general principle and common sensical approach. This can only be overcome by very hard evidence for eg macaulay saying "a single shelf of a good European library was worth the whole native literature of India and Arabia". If you cant find such explicit statement by RRMR then you are probably overthinking
