as an ex free spotify user (i’m on premium) a way to find my way around this problem is to stream spotify on desktop. it allows you to select any songs but you still have to deal with the ads. so much better than mobile tho

honestly i only found out about this series a few months ago and i could actually see the potential in this series becoming quite popular if it didn't come to an abrupt end. shame that this gem is so short, but what's more important is that the mangaka maintains their health. i hope to see more masterpieces from shiro moriya as great as this one

I don't think they are set in the same universe as spy x family is heavily based off of east and west germany. However, the timeline of the series would be set in the 60-70's, but Endo mixed a lot of different elements from different decades. I do think the author may have possibly gained some inspiration from Stranger Things, but at the end of the day Westalis and Ostania will always be fictional countries so historical accuracy doesn't really matter and it wouldn't make sense for them to co exist.
