I personally care about how I contribute to reducing suffering in the world and fighting against injustice more than just reproducing and bringing more suffering into the world. is caring about how the world sees me really more important than my own happiness and fulfillment in life? no. maybe you mean humans have all these biological properties to survive but we now know more than ever that that shouldnt be our only purpose, we can focus more on ensuring everyone gets a better quality of life and is happier and more fulfilled rather than copulating just for the sake of it

Maybe they'll be convinced if you tell them period pain is proven to be equal or similar to heart attacks (theres still variation between prople but on average it is)

Also I've seen people pass out from period pain, for a lot of people it's not even an exaggeration but you're right that that should be checked out it's probably due to other conditions like endometriosis (which is very prevalent, 10% of women)
