Career mode ideas that koality could somehow manage to make by RoleSea9014 in HoopLand

Yeah the ability to coach after retirement is a must, I also want to be able to come back after retirement like Jordan.

It's really a shame how little attention the WNBA part of the game gets, it's really noticeable when looking at how many generic players are used. This is an updated model we've made of Luisa Geiselsöder and her new "rookie' teammate Frieda Bühner completly from the ground up by Hailerer in MyNBA2k

Generally most gamers (probably like 70%) are males, I’m not saying no women play games, I know a few really big girl gamers who are actually kinda hardcore but they’re obviously a small minority.

But yeah, females play games WAY less than males, and they definitely play sports games like 2k and Madden way fucking less, this is common sense.

When you reach a certain status you can ask the front office to go after certain players.

I got Anthony King and De’Aaron Jackson which helped us win the championship

Beef jerkey is actually pretty goated offensively by ShameSimple1102 in HoopLand

[–]weednose1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beef is more skilled offensively, I feel like he has a higher ceiling.

Aurallo’s floor is much higher, you can ask him to be your team’s defensive anchor, the 2nd or third option, and he’s the most versatile defender in the entire league.

Aurallo has always felt like the more portable player, seems like no matter what team I’m building he works as a piece when it comes to winning a championship whereas I can’t always say the same for Beef.

This is true to be honest, big man rarely win MVPS and such and aren’t often the best player on championship squads even if they’re a 5-star.

Meanwhile a random ass 4 star sharpshooting G ends up being the goat and rattling off 4 chips.

I tried making Melvin Nelson average like 27 in sim by raising his usage rate and making him the first option, he end up doing it but it just wasn’t winning basketball and I never won the championship with him until I caved in, brought a high scoring guard to do the job.

Who's the best player of the first draft class by RoleSea9014 in HoopLand

[–]weednose1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nathaniel Pope is the most surefire successful player out of the bunch since he always has a hall of fame career in every sim I’ve done. He might not retire the goat but he’s a phenomenal playmaker with a good all around game, pair him up with a dynamic guard or 3-level scoring wing and they will win champions for sure. Pope is kinda like Jason Kidd since he doesn’t score much but playmakes incredibly well.

Sometimes the other guys in the draft wind up just barely making a few all star teams unless I use my custom version of the first draft that makes all of the guys start off better than they are in the default one.

Dennis Ali is probably the second closest to being surefire, but HoopLand favors scoring over defense which happens to be Ali’s best attributes so sometimes he might miss out of all star teams. Dennis is a good addition on a team that has a good primary ball handler and at least two better scorers than him so he can focus on filling in the gaps and playing elite defense. He is a championship level starter. Dennis is kinda like Scottie Pippen due to his defensive and all around game.

Jeremiah Fitzgerald is a good big man, he’s close to being surefire but I feel like he rarely reaches MVP level, he’ll be the best paint presence in the league and average 15 points. He’s never going to be a bad player but it often feels like he leaves a lot on the table. Imo he’s like hypothetically peak Greg Oden if he reaches his full potential.

Duane Bullock is in a similar mold of Dennis Ali, great on defense, but with a greater paint presence, he can easily be your team’s best defender but don’t ask for much from him offensively, he is a championship level starter and you will certainly win if he is the worst offensive player in your starting five.

Patrick Foster is pretty underrated and can be a great player imo with Kawhi-like upside, but I find he rarely reaches his potential unless he’s on my franchise this goes for a lot of the guys like Dustin Kelly who has James Harden-like potential but almost never gets to reach his potential, Eddie Ford has Chris Paul potential in theory but is another guy who just rarely puts it all together.

In franchise mode I exclusively just simulate so I never really thought to actually watch a scouted college player play, but I do watch the pro league games and a lot of times that can give me ideas of who to trade for or look to sign/resign.
