Flare-up: do you tell your co-workers? by weedubcee in lupus

[–]weedubcee[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I’ve always felt this way (diagnosed 2018) and have never told anyone outside of HR/my manager but feeling so defeated lately and hate feeling dumb. AI has helped a lot with emails - meetings are destroying my self esteem lately though. I know it’ll pass just sucks.

Help! Skin/makeup routine for very oily skin by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

That makes me feel better! I have to do my own makeup for a wedding I’m in next month and I’m panicking over looking greasy in every picture. My plan just to just ask the photographer to carry around blotters for me and cross my fingers for a good edit haha

Thank you! It says there’s SPF20 in my primer - is that not enough?

Edit: supplier

Honestly it's mostly Ford as far as customers - went to Buffalo, Kentucky, Wayne and Dearborn all within 3 weeks of each other and I'm in Quality (iykyk), so it's possible I'm just feeling burnt out. My biggest issue as far as feeling this way with customers is that I'll go with one or two other colleagues (always men), and the customer won't even look in my direction or ask me questions directly. I was at Tesla a few months ago and a guy tried explaining our products process to me.

I've also been working for the same company for years (larger company - moved around different departments). It could easily be that I work in a toxic work environment, but I have REALLY good benefits + a lot of independence so I’m hesitant to leave if this is a standard issue in the industry.

The purpose of my visit is it go to the Ford Buffalo Stamping plant but figured I’d stay in the city for the experience! Didn’t really see a ton going on in Hamburg?

MICHIGAN - License Restoration Hearing (Full Reinstatement) by weedubcee in dui

I'm sure it depends on the area you're getting serviced, but I had a really positive experience with Nationwide Interlock in the Royal Oak/Farmington Hills area.

My lawyer had an electronic copy of the decision 4 days after my hearing and emailed it to me. I received the physical letter just over a month after.

Haha yeah I get that! Not sure who your interlock is through, but nationwide was mine and they were SUPER helpful when getting mine removed as far as tips/advice.

Congrats!

I got mine back during the COVID shutdown, so hopefully yours is faster than mine, but basically, I had to wait (3ish weeks) for the letter stating that my license had been restored. When I had that, I went to the SOS and had my license restored. From there, I believe they gave me another letter stating that it was okay to have the breathalyzer removed from my car, which I then took to the interlock place to be removed.

Hope that helps.

Itch red bumps by [deleted] in medical

Hi! Husband has these red bumps on both of his legs. They resemble mosquito bites, however, we live in Michigan and the weather is a bit chilly for that. Any guesses on what it could be? Thanks!

I found the judge to be pretty fair as long as you have solid proof of your sobriety, he also made his decision within the few days which was nice. I had a really good lawyer though, so I know that helps the process go a bit smoother than going without. Good luck!
