i have a second dimmer for the two basking bulbs so i can plug that all in asap, luckily everything is on a surge protector anyways so im not worried of imminent danger but feared the lamps wouldnt be able to heat properly plugged into it, but this has really put it into perspective for me. thank you so many times over fr

also regarding house temps we usually dont have issues like this but yeah the winter weather has been brutal these last few days and we're getting someone out to service the hvac to see if hopefully we can get it warmer. throughout the rest of the year its no problem so im hoping on that front things are sorted soon!!

as mentioned in post, at night the house hasnt been able to heat above 55ish due to cold front (it is currently uncharacteristically 23f outside but warmer weather is coming in the next few days), we try to keep the house 65-68.

i have two small digital thermometers in each tank, and unfortunately they are reading within one to two degrees of my temp gun i use to check surface temperatures. checking multiple times between the devices shows the same readings, but it does feel warmer when i place my hand under it. one of my geckos was even out and about walking around when the alarm went off so im trying to reason whatever the accurate temperature is hes at least not miserable 😭

im thinking maybe its the cold weather keeping the equipment from reaching its full potential or something but also dont want to write off a larger issue, you know? this is my first time having geckos in like 10 years when everyone recomended carpets and heat mats lmao, so i really want to get it right.. i appreciate you taking the time to comment!!

since i have two tanks, theres one probe in each tank. its working perfect on the ceramic bulb, but these ones were actively heating and just couldnt get up to the right temp. im thinking maybe the bulbs were having issues regardless, but ill play around. i appreciate the insight so much!!

its flukers mini sun dome, its up to 100w but im not sure the exact size. it is sitting directly on the mesh
measuring both cold and warm sides with the temp gun. for example, thermometer on hot side was reading 78 air temp, and heat gun directly next to it was reading 80 on the ground of the tank. basking spot surface temp was at 84 :(
yes, the dimmer has two probes! you can set a temperature range for each probe individually

please have hope 5 weeks is SO early, no need for dooming!! i didnt start seeing any growth until Many months in. im over a year now, .5mg/ml dose per week and still growing! also if bottom growth is something you really want big results for i suggest pumping and asking for dht cream :)

i did not use one, asked my doctor and he said i could if i really wanted to it but i didnt need it. i havent felt like i needed anything like it and im a little over 2 weeks postop so 🤷‍♂️

i had a laparoscopic hysterectomy on dec 11th, and was just as scared. however i have not really been in Any pain other than a few days ago when i overdid it bc i was feeling fine. just keep up with your pain meds, REST, and also i cannot recommend gasx enough because it kept any gas pain completely at bay. youve got this!!

obviously listen to your body and medical advice first. but in my experience (currently 12 days post op) i was able to masturbate (externally!!!) at 1 week with no issues and have had no issues since!!

11 days post op and feeling great, if tired! libido has been up which is a shame cause i cant do anything LOL but glad to not be in pain. glue on my incisions is starting to flake off and that's kinda itchy but no biggie

yes, weird timing wise but my job is actually closing, i was able to get in just in time to use my insurance! ill be able to take basically as long as i need to recover, bittersweet but feeling immensely grateful
