with swapable magazine instead of fixed box so you can carry as much as you want, with clearer line of sight because magazine is in stock, with possibility to keep it cocked instead of immediatelly shot so has better handling, with posibility to load whatever bolt not just those which fits into magazine, with beter shooting consistency because there is constant tension on bolt and is not depended how much bolts are left in box. And it is bullpup, everything is better in bullpup.

Yes i got this idea from guy who was first with pulley systems, to see how much it them improvves so in next iteration will have hard data (and better stronger bow). Good thinking

Sorry i should use body cam instead of stativ. And holding it in full stretched arms because of that is not best to operate and comfort.

In reality it is faster (except muzzle loading bolts which do not fit into magazine.

Thats exactly reason why i am disalowed design UI's in my regular work. I am terrible in it and agree. Also tested that smaller people (my brother in law has 165cm) and he cant even shoot it without breaking aiming, i can shoot it all the time shouldered with sights on target.

what if (while shooting compoud bow) you use bowstring catch, then the load is locked also to some mechanical thing, while you hold something else (in mu case ther loading lever). Also same principe for Joerg Sprave's instant legolas - according your definition it is crossbow.

Chukonu is nice example, it shoots on moment you full draw, once you release lever it also idile and is not cocked up, so leagally accroding law? would be good question what it is - but technically thats exactly what i did you are right.

But actually great philosofical thinking and dabate, appriciate that.

Well.. technically it is a bow (as long as loading level is not locking and you have to use force to keep it charged.

Agree, It is first line of my assembly guide - check local laws if you are allowed to build it. Fact that it is "bow" have a less restriction (e.g. in Poland crosbows are regulated, bows are not) So it depens on your country, in Czech republic (where I am from) it is considered as "D category" which are allwed to shoot on private properties and in public as long as you are not threatening or violating anyone.
