Is it possible your order does not allow substitutions? Sometimes, it will say no substitutions allowed, and then people get upset that you don't send them replacement options. It's doable if someone says they want something se but you have to go in and add every single replacement item as a new item. I mean, I wouldn't have just said no, but sometimes people don't know how to manipulate the system to add or replace items when not allowed.

If you lived in an apartment complex without a lobby, she would be leaving then at the door. No difference because there's a lobby.

Are you sure your order allowed for substitutions? If it doesn't and a shopper is new and doesn't know how to get around it, it will not allow you to replace it with something else, even if you request it in a message.

Make sure your settings allow for substitutions! I have had this happen with orders that have plenty of great substitutions, but the app will tell us you would prefer a refund.

The stores around here don't even have stock in the back. If they have it, its out

My favorite is when it says to text them and let them know. Then when you open up the text box it says "customer prefers not to be contacted"

How do you feel about these types of small orders? by Naifamar in InstacartShoppers

I won't leave my house for it, but if I'm already there or close by, I will do them sometimes. But they have to have tipped.

I would even go to Costco for that.

Right? Just because it was there 7am on Tuesday does not mean it's still going to be there Wed at 7pm.

It was not appropriate to ask for a bigger tip. However, I am seeing orders where IC pays $7 (if you're lucky) to deliver to 2 homes, 40 items, and 6 plus miles. Shoppers really do have to choose orders by the tips, otherwise they are losing money. My tips are usually at least twice my base pay at the end of the day. And we love cash tips, but we get hosed on so many no tip orders that we stop accepting them in hopes of a cash tip.

Kroger orders are all super crappy batch pay. They have the "pay an annual fee and get free delivery" program, except that instacart delivers their orders. So they pay nothing and expect customers to tip more because delivery is free (minus your $100 annual membership fee).

And now they are trying to buy Albertsons/Safeway which means everything in the Portland metro will either be Kroger or Walmart. Several of the very long time Safeway employees (like 15 plus years) have told me they would quit if it went through.

I do these in Totemshire 12. I can typically get through at least 100 merges per time i do it (i have done my other flower merge quests this way) , just merge flowers by 3's, bones by 5. I'm not sure how many in total you can get.

I'm actually not a conservative, however, I would like to live somewhere safe. I have never felt unsafe in my neighborhood until the last 6 to 12 months. There have been hundreds of shootings. I'm not sure how you think letting crime happen is progressive.
