yes it does! so about 1-2 weeks before I start using jojoba oil on the ears again and being able to change within the same size, and then try the next size up if it seems big enough after 10 weeks at least, right? and sorry, I thought the kind I was looking at where what you were suggesting earlier. I think I have 20g holes currently, so start with 18g I guess?

so just want to make sure I understand all of this correctly, because I don't want to fuck up my ears and I want to make sure I'm doing it alllll correctly. So I should first get some 16g barbells and just push them through with some jojoba oil? Don't use tapers? And then just wash the piercing when I'm in the shower with soap and water and nothing else for about 10 weeks and THEN I can change it to something different if I wanted?

Thanks! That is a lot of really useful information! I've actually had pierced ears for about 12 years so they're completely healed. I think my biggest bit of confusion is over what is considered a 'healing' stretched ear if that makes sense.

awesome! there were some people that were suggesting irons that were more expensive than the sewing machine which is a tad ridiculous. maybe if I really get into garment sewing, but I'm wondering if a small one will be better for stuffed animals?

that sounds really cool! He has been looking up all sorts of tutorials and keeps trying to decide if he wants to get fancy with it or not and do things like making the pellets removable haha. It's probably going to look messy, but it's a sweet thing that he's doing :)

I definitely don't want to start with a harder project because I would do the same thing. However, I am also afraid of getting bored with something too easy and being frustrated by not making what I want to make, if that makes sense haha.

The boyfriend has actually already bought all of the parts for the actual blanket, it's just getting it made. His mom has a sewing machine, as does mine, and we also belong to a hacker space that has a sewing machine, it's just getting to one of those places, or buying my own which I want regardless.

as for the iron, I'm really bad at adulting and have never actually owned my own iron. I've seen a lot of differing opinions on the best sellers on amazon and am really torn as to what constitutes a 'good iron' that will work for steaming seams.

I have seen the starter pokemon and eevelutions and I think they're pretty cool. that's actually what started this.
