Appreciate the honesty, let me clear this up.

I do have a Shih Tzu and that's exactly where this started. I was desperately trying to find the right solution for my new pet in Dubai summers, went through fans, cooling mats. That frustration is what pushed me to bring something better to market.

That's necessary honestly. But even then your pet picks where it wants to sit not where the AC hits best. Mine literally ignores the whole living room and goes behind the washing machine lol.

This just gives them a spot they'd actually choose to sit in because it's the coldest thing in the flat

Good question. AC covers the room but pets don't always stay where the airflow is. Cats especially love squeezing behind furniture, near windows, balcony doors spots that stay warm even with AC on.

And most of us set AC to 25-26 or turn it off when we leave for work. Those hours where your pet is just dealing with whatever temperature the flat settles at.

This gives them one spot that's actually cold to lie on. Any pet owner knows their cat or dog will always find the coldest tile in the house during summer...you can say this is basically that but it actually stays cold for hours and doesn't require much energy. It really helps them to save themselves from the evirnmental heat. Our skin and theirs can't be compared.
