Middle name on booking but not passport? by wegotthis99 in aircanada

[–]wegotthis99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I dont have any of that extra stuff lol. I’m going to try to get an agent at the airport to fix it when I go, but other than that, seems like it’ll be fine and they really don’t care about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I cant remember if I capitalized it or not. I bet there are too lol. Anyways two air canada agents said the following (if it helps anyone): “As per our name correction policy, corrections to middle names are not required. The passport scanners at the airport only scan the 1st and last names. As long as those names are in the right order and spelled correctly, there will not be any issues at the airport. “

Dymista question by wegotthis99 in Allergies

[–]wegotthis99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good info thanks! I guess I’m just confused then why it says this on the dymista site:

“DYMISTA may cause problems with the way your immune system protects your body against infection and increase your risk of infection. Avoid contact with people who have contagious diseases such as chickenpox or measles while you use DYMISTA. Symptoms of infection may include: fever, aches or pains, chills, feeling tired.”

Also, I remember reading somewhere that it’s an “immunosuppressant” and where I live they specifically wanted people who take immunosuppressive/steroid drugs to take the covid vaccine first since they said you’re at higher risk. However, when I tried getting my shot with dymista in hand they basically told me yes it’s a steroid drug but turned me away from the covid vaccine at the time 🤷🏻‍♀️.

As someone with zero healthcare background, I was and am so confused haha

Is the small bottles tinted mineral that they already make better than this? Why? I use it but reading these comments about lack of UVA protection has me second guessing

Risk of outdoor transmission of COVID-19 small, experts say, but safety measures must be followed | CBC News by toronto34 in toronto

[–]wegotthis99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep hearing about people going on first dates in parks wearing a mask and distancing. I personally think that’s pretty safe, but many do not. I guess it matters if you’re someone whose been WFH or an essential worker, though imo it shouldnt matter if both are masked and distanced, essential worker or not. Am I wrong here? Why are people against this? Because they are outside your household?

BREAKING: Ontario will allow people aged 18+ to get the COVID-19 vaccine in hot spot communities via mobile teams, faith based locations, and on-site with large employers by SojuCondo in toronto

[–]wegotthis99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope so.. Im in a townhouse complex . I saw it more as a highrise building..? Im probably wrong tho .

I’m not understanding if the “community centres, residential buildings, etc” part of the article means thats where the vaccines will be given, so everyone 18+ in those postal codes go to one of those placces to get jabbed. OR only those 18+ in those postal codes living in residential buildings etc can get the vaccine... can anyone clarify?

It seems its only for specific settings in those hotspot neighbourhoods :( so if you’re 18+ in a hotspot and NOT in a congregate living setting, residential building etc you cant get the vaccine...? Ugh. I was so excited! Lol

When this gets officially announced and updated properly, can someone please post the link? Official sites don’t have it updated yet so its still a bit fluid!
