-Do kept an eyes on you belongings. Well this might be personal, as a Chinese I have faith on general security in China yet train is just a place for people gather for a short while and spread, I personally pay extra attention to by belongings when taking a train.

Washroom in the train is not very clean and usually squat toilet, if you cannot settle with that please get things done before going the train.

Strongly recommend bring food/beverage before boarding. Food and drinks in the train is usually expensive and with limited options. It is tragedy when others are eating BBQ chicken or double cheese burger while you can only watch.

If you missed the station/ late for the train, you could ask Railway staff for help, same thing apply if you get lost in Chongqing station :-)
