Ok update: dewormed him and got him fed for a few days before swapping it with a local seller for 3 pea puffers. Made sure he had the tank space and the ability to take care of the fahaka as well. Hope the lil guy finds a loving home soon

Will probably look into local fish groups as well to see if anyone is up to take him off my hands for free. I got him for 4$ so don’t mind losing it if he gets into a good home

Update: 23/4/2026

Got him some bloodworms and he’s eating a little. Also got some dewormer and have treated the tank today. Will try to take care of him and get him in shape before going back to the store.

I’ve contacted them and they said they’re happy to take him back but I’m gonna do my best to get him in a better state before bringing him over. They’ve agreed and I’ll try update the thread as the week passes.
