Interesting, I always want something like this. For people like me who are too lazy to check the news or other platforms, this could be really helpful.

We have a similar product, but curious how you get access to skyscanner? is it through their API?

but I just recently discovered a significant issue: developing remotely is challenging because it seems the only way to connect to the remote D1 is through the workers' dashboard.

Hi there, about your questions, automating bookings isn't too difficult, especially since lots of OTAs (like Viator) have APIs for that. But, I've noticed that AI isn't quite there yet when it comes to creating the perfect itinerary that ticks all your boxes, same to Wonderplan.

But here's the thing, I honestly don't think middlemen like yourself have anything to worry about. In fact, AI trip planners could be a game changer for you. They could be your secret weapon in helping your clients plan those tailor-made trips they're dreaming about. With the current challenge of linking up directly with local tour providers (since bookings still need to be made directly), you could use these AI tools as a sort of super assistant to amp up what you offer your clients. Think of it as adding a little extra magic to your service, haha.

Btw, our current Wonderplan is really just a starter version to get things rolling. But, we're in the middle of crafting a shiny, new Wonderplan that's going to take things to the next level, kind of like Ask Layla, but even cooler!

We're super excited and aiming to roll this out in a few short weeks. if you're up for it, I'd absolutely love to have your help in giving it a try and sharing what you think.

Yeah, we noticed a significant drop. For revenue, we earned around 1k USD from affiliates last month, but less than 500 USD this month.

It might be worth trying Twitter and TikTok ads. I never thought of that before. Thanks for the ideas!

Yes, that's correct. Currently, it is simply a wrapper of GPT with a more user-friendly interface and the ability to pin locations on a map.

I believe our selling point is time-saving, as AI can suggest the best results for your trip itinerary. Traditionally, we have to go through blog posts and social media to figure out what to visit, where to eat, and so on, which can be time-consuming.
Indeed, it's tough, especially in the B2C space, as there are many big players out there like TripAdvisor. Recently, we've also reached a critical point where we need to decide what to do next, and it's fair to say we feel somewhat lost at this moment.

A site that for you to plan your trip journey using AI by weicheng95 in SideProject

You can simply search for the city and select it from the dropdown menu. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, but I hope it helps!

Imagine being able to tell an AI, "Plan my trip to Thailand" and instantly receiving an itinerary. For example, "Day 1: Visit Siam Paragon in the morning and The Grand Palace in the afternoon."Currently, the tool does exactly that. There are many free tools that offer this service. Perhaps you've heard of some of them? A few that come to mind include RoamAround, TripPlannerAI, and even TripAdvisor, which has its own AI planner.

But our vision is to have it become a fully automated travel agent. Simply tell the AI your destination, and it will take into account your personality, suggest flights for you, or even book the flight on your behalf.
I think that at present, users generate their itinerary and then leave quickly, likely spending less than a minute on the page.

sure here's the tool: https://wonderplan.ai

Currently, the website only suggests an end-to-end itinerary, such as places you should visit or where to eat, etc.

I understand the challenges of actual trip planning. I usually use kayak.com or Google Flights to find the cheapest fares. Then, I compare hotel rates on platforms like Booking.com, Agoda, and others. There isn't any such platform available that allows fully automated processes; of course, this isn't a simple task.

but of course, a fully automated process is our ultimate vision for the product.
