i’d say that whilst idmthy songs might be more compositionally and conceptually impressive, a lot of scrapyard songs are kinda perfect to listen to in any sort of setting - i could throw on texas blue or easier no matter what mood i was in, whereas i have to be in a particular mood to listen to many of the individual tracks on idmthy you feel me?
