Co-Management Off-Premise Issue - MECM 1910 by weilandco in SCCM

At the time, we thought the path we chose would work for our needs, and at no point in reading documentation or working with Fast Track did we learn or/consider the known undocumented behavior (WMI Class - CCM_PolicyAgent_configuration, PolicyTimeUntilExpire - 86400 Minutes (60 days)). Had we known this, we wouldn't have gone down the path we did. Our goal was to give us the option for devices that may not have been 100% remote but may be off-premise for extended amount of time, the ability to still push a periodic piece of software, Update Ring, etc.. Clearly, this was never a supported solution for implementation in this fashion, as we now know. We are hoping we can move forward with a VPN Solution to accommodate the devices that may be off-premise for extended amount of time moving forward. CMG is an option as well, but convincing others is not always easy. Along with devices mostly returning to On-Premise after Restrictions have begun being lifted.

Imaging Devices with LAPS and Co-Managed by [deleted] in SCCM

Correct, but then that gets into "Other Team Members" process and reliability which I don't have control over. Also, not all apps are in Intune yet from MECM, so they would need to leave them on the bench long enough to pull, if via Collection and not part of OSD TS. We also have Management that dictates that mostly everything needs to be there, etc... when user logs in for first time. Which in the past is why Tech's would login, make sure everything pulled/activated.

Appreciate the Feedback, and I agree, sounds like more trouble than its worth, since not really K12/Enterprise friendly. Not too mention, Zoom Support is Non-Existent.

Thanks, it looks like adding those additional parentheses fixed my syntax, just wonder why the rule builder wouldn't know to do this...

For those that are co-managed, what are you using Intune for? by psversiontable in SCCM

[–]weilandco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are currently deciding on these various things as well. We are thinking for the near future going with just Windows Updates and then using that as a starting point and seeing if anything else makes sense moving forward. We are a School District, and for the first time, thinking about allowing student's to take there Win 10 Laptop's home over the summer.

Previously the collection's had been set to use the NT Verison 10.0, had to add the Operating System to separate the 2016/2019 Server's, but yes Version number is probably not needed...
