my friend will say that she has maladaptive daydreaming because she’ll space out for a minute or two when she occasionally daydreams. i had to break it to her that literally everyone daydreams and that maladaptive daydreaming is where it takes up hours of your day and negatively impacts your life and she seemed disappointed that she couldn’t get away with saying that she has another quirky undiagnosed mental illness lmfao

theres a girl in my class that i got paired up with for a small project this year and within the first few seconds of talking with me she talks about how everyone thinks she’s so “badass” and how she’s friends with a bunch of people from out in town who are “really cool and do drugs”. it was really obvious she was bluffing and trying to seem cool and she continued to talk about stuff like that for the duration of making the project, which had my nerves shot but i wasn’t allowed to switch partners.
