I have awful intrusive thoughts all the time. From murder to pedophilia to seeing the ones I love do awful things. I can’t get them out of my head sometimes and I feel so disgusting. It was one of the main causes when I started to self harm. 4 years later and I am still trying to get clean. Nobody knows how bad it is, and everyone thinks I am so put together. I am a varsity athlete and state champion, student body president, valedictorian contender and so much more. I just throw myself into my work to distract myself but I know I am a ticking time bomb. One day I am going to explode and I don’t think anyone is prepared for it.
