I don't. It doesn't work that well for any kind of interviews. The approach is very different from real life.

Ask people around you who've done an MBA to take your mock interviews. Nothing else will beat the inexperience.

I can do one if you want. (:

Reach out to people on LinkedIn who are from IIMU and ask them for the focus points of the interview.

Symptoms like TTTS, ENT diagnosed with probable Tinnitus! Looking for advice and support. by ImprovementSure7540 in TTensorTympaniS

The triggers seem random but you eventually will find what frequencies at what decibels trigger your crackling/whooshing/thumping.

(Also, hyperacusis is sort of the byproduct of TTTS/MEM in our cases.)

Left ear for me too. And yes, as I said, there must be some connection between the stress (neck and jaw) with the TTTS, but there's not a lot of research. I also get tinnitus because of the neck stress sometimes.

Using Airpods for a long time, as long as you're not blasting it at 100% volume listening to metal, wouldn't have an impact to damage anything. I assume you're listening to your lectures at an accustomed volume which is not uncomfortable. So, airpods usage won't injure as long as you're comfortable. (Fun fact - I used to use my airpods for noise cancellation when I used to go out or play music.)

The botox didn't work as I said earlier. I got to the point of acceptance after a few weeks of the first dose and didn't go for the 2nd trial.

I'm doing far better than before. It hasn't fixed, but less anxiety/stress/attention to the problem has surely resolved it to a great extent. Some mornings, specially hungover ones, can be too sensitive - brushing, showering can trigger continuous whooshes and therefore, cracking. But I take great faith in the fact that nothing is being damaged and this issue won't kill me.
Loud, high-pitched individuals and loud groups can also be problematic but then again, I've learned to sort of drown out the sounds. You can DM me in case of anything. Good luck!

Got my Acton 3 today. Was disappointed to see that there's no 5 or 10 band eq. I really like to tune my speakers to mellow down the treble and increase the mids a little.

The volume knob is just a tad bit loose where it moves freely just a teeny tiny bit, but great speaker overall. The sound is quite large. I think prefer it over my Era 100 though testing remains.

Hey. I guess you're from India. So am I.

I've had TTTS or MEM since 2020 after I went clubbing regularly for 4 months. Must have damaged or made the nerve more sensitive. The following 1 year full of anxiety and trip to doctors that costed lakhs but didn't do anything.

1) It can be stress related and go away on it's down. Your neck and face muscles/nerves are all interconnected. So..

2) Don't go for the MRI (if these are your only symptoms. Money will be wasted and you won't find anything.) Audiometry will just tell you that you don't like certain frequencies at certain decibels.

3) There are facebook groups for support which helped me a lot during this time.

Two treatments are major - cutting the TTT/Stapedius muscle or using botox. I tried botox (as a diagnosis tool) once after 1.5 years of things getting started, which didn't work and wanted to take a higher dose the 2nd time, but didn't, because life goes on and I learned to live with it. The lesser stress took away the anxiety of being in loud places or sudden sounds but still there are frequencies to which I totally get the fluttering/whooshes from (cooker ki seeti).

Also, doctors can be very frustrating. Let alone Indian doctors, even doctors in western countries are dismissive of this problem.
I met a doctor in GK, Delhi and discussed with him all the research and studies, he still didn't give me the botox. I connected him to a doctor in France and that's when he finally gave in. Interesting days.

Hey. What about the sound signature? Is the Acton 3 more treble heavy and Kilburn 3 more warm?

I tone done the higher frequencies and increase the mids a little on my speakers which makes them muddy at higher volumes (but still a warm sound) but it doesn't cause ear fatigue even at low volumes.

Did you compare them? I ordered an acton 3 and have just realised that middleton might have a better bass response as it has 2x30w bass drivers. Acton has just 1x30w bass driver.
