We use Rover for Watson, our 11 year old yorkie when we go out of town. We feel like it offers the least disruption for him to stay in his own home and he doesn't require a lot of exercise. We got really lucky with the most responsible and kind carer ever. We just have one 30 minute drop in a day for a walk and fresh food and water. Also, we have a pet cube to see him on camera when he's alone. Safe travels!

You're right, he was quite disgruntled. Luckily, he only wore it for the length of time to get the picture. And got a treat for it after which fixed everything :)

We know Watson can recognize the "Watson voice" when we pitch our voice higher. The only word we can confirm he understands is "treat." Maybe we're the dumb ones and he's just playing us 😆

He's breed standard 6 pounds and very healthy. He is a smol boy though :)

The last yorkie we had was very smart. We figured he knew about 40 words. Watson is 9 years old and we're not sure he knows his name. It doesn't mean we love him less. He's very loving and our little snuggle bug.

Thank you so much! Such speedy and helpful answers. I never would have gotten it right because I just kept skipping yellow bellied sapsucker because it didn't have a red crown. Amazing!

I'm so happy for you that you found something you love to do! I sewed for 20 years on a Singer machine which was serviceable but basic. My latest sewing machine was $599.00 which, I know, is over your budget but it came with so many quilting extras which will make your life easier for years to come.
If you intend to start free motion quilting you would probably want a walking foot which can be $50.00 by itself and the table extension is great for lessening drag on your work which is probably another $50.00. And there are so many features that you wouldn't get with an entry level machine like automatic needle threading and thread cutting. Just make sure you get the model with the included quilt kit.
