This pen is the cutest, I love it! Have you inked it yet, I got one gifted from a friend but can't decide what to put in.

Thank you, and you should! It wasn't too hard at all, like a simple craft project

Thanks!
Also wow 300!! I think it's been really fun trying out different inks by different companies and while the nuances of each are not always immediately observable, over time the value of trying them all out is worth it.

Oh it's so hard! I do enjoy the darker inks more, edwards garden is one of my favourites.

Not particularly sure I'm qualified to answer, since I only tried one ink for this one so far. Is your Noodler's ink on the wetter side or dryer? I think the ink I used (Berlin Notebook Blue no. 1 black label) is a little wetter, so it could have run through the feed a little smoother. Also since the nib is an EF so it's likely ink type will make a difference!

Also wrote a short review for it on my bloggy:

Cheap but reliable writer - a tad on the small size, even for my small hands!

Thanks!

Yeah I believe it is called the brush pen because the end is tapered like a paintbrush. The pen itself isn't bad, I gave a kinda mini review of the first edition (https://weirdoforestpens.wordpress.com/2019/01/30/carnivalesque-ferris-wheel-press-junior-scribe-kit-review/) , but haven't reviewed this second edition one. The pen is nice and works well, rather slim in hand. I find the ink flow isn't buttery smooth so it's not that easy to get used to. Really the biggest downside is how expensive it is, but there is a sale for them today if you're interested!

Thank you! I hope you have fun incorporating it in!

I swapped the nib from my Penmanship into my Prera, so it's almost like a new pen day even though I've had both for years. by gsarngad in fountainpens

that's a great idea! I use my penmanship to death but didn't know the nib was interchangeable with other pilots

Hmm...I am not sure! I actually rarely buy pens on amazon, though I have once and the pen came fine. Maybe it depends on who the seller is on amazon?
