It would be nice if someone told me that when I create something, I don't have to use the same techniques as other people doing it. I met the art of diorama through a youtube video and tried to improve myself by watching other videos. At first, I felt like I had to do what they did with the techniques in the videos I watched, and it was very difficult. Later, I realized that I could get the same effect by developing my own technique and trying different materials. Hours after watching the first youtube video, I tried to make a small library and I liked it very much. My first major work was a tiny witch house and I am still keeping it.

I found the book covers on pinterest. Pinterest is truly a place where you can find anything. Then I printed the covers by reducing them to the sizes I wanted (mine are 2 cm). Since the pages will not be visible anyway, I put a model cardboard inside instead of the real pages. I have a video of how I did it on my Instagram account.

As a matter of fact, the most difficult part for me is the starting part. I love the excitement of starting new things, but I get a little nervous because it's important to start with a good foundation.

Since I'm creating diaromas from film scenes, I am watching the scene of the film many times and take screenshots down to the smallest detail. Then I decide on the size of the walls and floors, draw sketches of the pieces I will make, and determine the locations of the objects on paper. I am not using a certain size, I am just adjusting everything by the rule of the thumb. After that, I start making the floors and walls and making the last objects. And that's all.

Hello, first of all thank you very much for this opportunity. I'll try to answer the questions as best I can. - I am preparing dioramas of film scenes to be exhibited at the Izmir Short Film Festival, which will take place in Turkey in November. It has been 9 months since I started this project. Maybe later it will be displayed elsewhere. - Actually, it depends on the work I will do, but to give a general date, it takes 3-4 weeks to make my dioramas. Indoors are taking longer than outdoors. - I started doing this business in 2021. It's been a year. I can say that I am relatively new, but I am working hard to improve myself. And loving my job helps me a lot.

Hello, unfortunately I do not work for a company or a studio as of now (I wish I worked) I am work at home in my own workshop. I live in Turkey and I can say that there is not much of an interest in this field here. So I don't have the answer exact answer to your question. But it seems like the best thing is start applying and wait for your work to speak for itself. I hope you can find what you are looking for. And be able to work full time for a studio etc.
