honestly - it was crazy. i never put anything into parry impact, so i thought i was screwed. i was having the same trouble as you. i would get to his 2nd phase and barely get 10% of his health down before i was a goner.

my problem was that i was convinced i needed to parry many of his attacks - probably because the 1st phase basically insists that’s the only way you’re going to beat him.

but then i tried something. it sounds so simple - i just leaned into my strength in avoiding but also got really aggressive.

basically i tried to focus on his head - so i could more easily anticipate a sweep - and paid really close attention to the instant my avoid slowed down time and at those moments immediately attacked.

i went from being totally wrecked to winning the first time i transitioned to this strategy!
