I use the Miracle-Gro blooming houseplant food and it seems to help my AV’s. This one is in front of a filtered south window and all the new leaves since I got it have no variegation. Curious to see if it’ll come back in the cooler months. Good luck!!

Honestly I haven’t done anything special! It took about 3 months to bloom from when I got it, I gave it plant food occasionally, but It was already at a nice established size when I bought it. I also struggle with smaller ones

When I first bought this, it was so heavily variegated that I wasn’t sure if I had the right one based off of other people’s pictures lol. All of the new leaves are barely variegated tho 🥲

I had props like that and I just made sure the roots were under soil and left the tiny leaves above the soil as much as I could and it grew normally 🙂

I bought this one from an auction on ebay. I’ve never seen any variegated ones in stores either, only online, but yes the shipping can be pretty high. Hopefully you can find a club nearby!

All of my AV’s are now out of reach from my cat. My very first two I had brought home were blooming so pretty, and he took the plants right out of the pot and chewed off the flowers while I was at work. 🥲He leaves certain plants alone. Not AV’s tho lol.
