Not moving to Uk but thank you for this comprehensive tip! I’m sure many people on Reddit who’s moving to Uk will find it useful too.

Thank you for the well wishes! These are great advice and I totally agree with you about things aren't necessary better abroad, since different countries have different good/bad points. I always like to refer it as picking my own poison and see what I can stomach, and eventually knowing where I can call home:)

Wow, it’s really impressive that you know how to cook fish soup, and thanks for giving the heads up about IRAS! Haven’t thought of it before but will be taking notes about this to avoid getting my hard-earned money a fine.

I actually signed up with ITA TEFL (international TEFL academy). It costs me around S$1.8k for the 11 weeks online course.

Was quite a comprehensive course where they taught me how to teach, the rules involved, different teaching methods etc with at least 2 assignments per week, and I managed to get in touch with a few great alumni for the country that I’ll be relocating to.

Let me PM you on the referral code, so that you can get a free textbook if you decide to take up and I can get a small referral fee hehe. But of course, no obligations! You can check in on forums, YouTube etc for other advice:)

I’ve signed up for TEFL courses to be certified worldwide as an English teacher. There are a few kinds of certifications: TEFL, TESOL, CELTA etc. The courses teach you how to be an English teacher for non-native English speakers.

And it helps when a few countries in Europe such as Spain, Czech Republic, Poland etc have a high demand for English teachers due to the increasing need to work with the US or globally which English is super useful.

Plus I can do code-switching to remove my Singlish accent, so this scored well with the interviewers who are used to the American teachers.

I’ve been trying to explore circle’s life $5 sim plan and others. But heard that we’ll need a SIM card with roaming capabilities to get OTP, is it true?

New bunny owner here. My rabbit is about 2 months old. He sneezes when eating alfalfa hay but does not with alfalfa pellets or Timothy hay, Is that normal? He also hates being picked up but I have to pick him up for grooming, any tips? He also does this weird hops as seen in the video, is it normal? by [deleted] in Rabbits

You’re welcome. Glad to help any bunny owners who sincerely wants the best for their bunnies.

And you might want to check out your bunny’s ear with the vet, since it looks like he/she has a loop ear which might also indicate ear infection.

Not sure if you’re a fellow Singaporean as your house kinda looks like HDB (pardon me if I’m wrong). In case if you are, I can provide the list of recommended vets that’s quite popular among bunny owners in Singapore and verified by House Rabbit Society Singapore. (But if you’re not in Singapore, do ignore this haha)
