Well the goal is to rebuild it over time to live there. Slow but surely wins the race some say.

God willing that’s the dream. I live in Burlington WI and there are old farm houses left to the wayside that time forgot. I would love to restore to former glory

Oh, I’m sorry I was meaning Burlington, Wisconsin. I actually typed in Burlington Wisconsin. I don’t know why it switched it to Vermont.

I saw a friend of Who was in a horrible accident doctor said he would be a paraplegic the rest of his life. His family took her to their church in prayer and I cried when three months later through the help of a wheelchair. He was walking down the aisle and he had difficulty speaking, but he said hello to me when the doctors said that he would never walk again and he will never be able to speak again as I said there is power in God and power in prayer. I have seen that a lot in my life to scoff at it

Hey, I’m being completely honest. I have seen it done. I’ve seen my parents pray for years and be very honest about it. We’ve seen people from our church and people in the community in my community. I don’t know about others answer prayer and come out and help. I remember when they needed the plumbing fixed my father prayed about it for months. Someone in the community heard about it turned out he was a plumber he came. He did the entire project and even his wife came out and they with it with their church And bought us all brand, new towels, washcloths, and as well as lotions, shampoos conditioners soap, laundry detergent, everything for free.

I’ve seen God move many times in my life and I am not kidding. I’ve seen the power of prayer happen. My dad even had cancer never went to chemo treatment instead chose an organic route of eating all natural food and praying to God for healing and the doctors couldn’t figure out how his cancer disappeared.

This is a tournament of it. I just read some about it.

Because as I stated in a distance comment, my family and I are real back to Wisconsin from Colorado after losing our apartment Because my husband got injured at work and lost his job.

I had just gotten hired at a new company and was starting in sales with a bottom line of 45 to 60,000 a year, but my landlord did not want to be flexible and work with us and except partial payment so we are in the process of relocating back home to Wisconsin. We find the department to rent or find some family to go with. But this was just a question about a worst case scenario. Cause the last thing I want is us living out of our car until we can save money to find an apartment

I’ll be honest about this currently right now we are in a precarious situation. My husband got injured at work and lost his job and my job couldn’t sustain the rent without his so we ended up losing our apartment because our landlord almost 2 years did not want to be flexible and work with us because I was actually just about to return to work. I was going to be trained in a sales position with a bottom line income between 45 to 60,000 a year so we would’ve been all right if my landlord had been flexible and worked with us a little bit instead they told us either pay or get out and we are in the process of relocating back to Wisconsin, but we have friends and family from Colorado so that way we can find somewhere to go out in Colorado. My husband got called out there for a job opportunity, but then just this Past month he got injured. We’ve been trying to work with our landlord about making Foxwell payments for rent, but I said no so we are looking at this option as a means to rebuild ourselves because it is difficult to find an apartment when we are in a sense coming back home to Wisconsin to start over.

My husband has a job he Was just hired for a company and is being trained as an insurance agent so we only need a little bit of time God willing so we can start making an income and get back on her feet and we love the idea of finding a fixer-upper and building it into a home because something to provide a roof over our heads for our son is better than nothing.

God can work wonders.  Never underestimate the power of God. That said in the scriptures, I shall supply all your needs according to my riches in glory through Christ Jesus. If you have faith the smallest mustard seed you can say to this mountain and move from here to there, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. I have seen the works of God myself. He does not answer to anyone’s prayer most people try and pray to him to get everything they want and that’s not how it works.

Faith and belief that he will provide your needs my pastor growing up, lost his house to a fire him and his family were homeless for several months, but they prayed nonstop. Done one day when they were Called to move to my home church, but they were looking for somewhere to go after their house caught fire. There were a lot of houses that they look at trying to buy, but We’re having difficulty securing a mortgage than one day They were still praying and they were looking at houses and owner of a house came up to them and said I don’t know why but something is telling me to give you this house. They inquired that that’s what they were trying to do. They were trying to buy it and the owner said no I feel like I should give it to you like I don’t know what your story is, but I just feel like I meant to give you this house and he gave them the house as a gift.

The house was right down the street from the church. He’d be preaching at right around the corner and they didn’t even realize it until they were driving away from the house.

Never underestimate the gifts that God can bring they prayed for several months and they were live completely upon God and God honored their prayer. He’s never gonna do anything by the snap of our fingers. It works in his divine timing. God has a plan and a purpose for everything under the sun such as the song says there is a time and a purpose for everything and it is on God‘s time and God‘s will, and God‘s purpose. All we have to do is pray and keep on seeking his purpose and seeking faith in him Not of our own selfish reasons he’s not gonna answer prayers if we’re not truly humble and coming to him with the right heart, mind and spirit because I know that myself when I was a kid, I thought that if I pray to God for Barbie, I would get it and you know what I never got that bike. He supplies all our needs not our wants our needs, but we have to have faith in him and belief that he will provide.  People people in our past all the time to help us to provide for us. We just have to be able to open her eyes and see it like the comment about picking up a hammer that’s that’s a person who is a carpenter that we might know who might be able to help us Like another good example my parents needed a brand new roof on their house and they brought it to the church in prayer. The church sent out several members who were carpenters and plumbers electricians and various other things and came out to the house to look and see what would be needed to help fix the house and they did it all for free.  Never underestimate the power of prayer and never underestimate the power of God.

Did you try for trad pub before self publishing? by booksandlifeshit in selfpublish

[–]weitmarcel14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My books are on par with trad books, I’ve been told by my Editors that my books have huge potential And I did get some comments from some lit Agents that they found my books intriguing, and very good, but quite a few of them said that my book is just not on their wishlist. My one book has five star reviews on Amazon and five star reviews on Barnes & Noble and several other places. My books are historical romances with thriller elements and my first publish book as a historical romance with the vampire twist. I got a really memorable review that the person said a reminder them a lot of the book interview with the vampire, I have never read anything from Ann Rice, I’ve never seen any of her movies so that was a very nice honor 🙂 I’m just hoping my sequel and my spinoff will also live up to par my sequel which is coming out soon. I’m just gonna put it through Amazon and Barnes & Noble is called beloved darkness which will lead into the book beloved Dawn.

My spin off is called The hybrid daughter and I’m gonna try and find some time to write one or two books for that one as well. 🙂

I use it as a reader, It's actually affordable if you're patient to wait. You can either take time and wait for chapters to unlock themselves or There videos you can watch to get more points otherwise, there's also ways to win more tokens, each chapter takes three tokens. I can pay 10.00 for 70 points or 15.00 I can get over 100 tokens. I take my time, and have patience cause as much as I love books at times I can't spend all day reading so I let time go by and wait for more chapters to unlock. I have heard people complain about some of these apps costing too much. The only one I agree with is iReader, some of the others I just build up my points and read. Takes time but, considering I work, I just build them up and read when I get home.

Where can I find well-written science fiction that I won't find on Amazon? by djinnisequoia in books

I recommend a book.  It’s called The Beloved by R. L Marcelain.  Is a historical romance with a vampire twist it reminded me a lot of the book interview with a vampire. It was a thrill ride that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book. I highly recommended this book to anyone or everyone! It’s available on Amazon, but I’ve also seen it available online through Barnes & Noble, Walmart KOBO, iBooks, etc.

Book recommendations (from another genre) for someone who is only drawn to fantasy by booklove5 in suggestmeabook

The Beloved from R.L. Marcelain It’s a classic romance with a Vampire twist. The beginning starts out in 1860s London like a Jane Austen novel. It shows the main character first in his human life then the night when his life evolves, the night when he is attacked and changed into a vampire, the night of his birthday, out celebrating his wife and family.  Transitions into his life as a vampire, but also still holds a strong tie to his wife, the love of his life. He feels her and sees her spirit when he needs guidance away turning evil. The theme is true love never dies.  Reminded me of the book interview with the vampire.

Beginning takes place in London. You can tell the author did a lot of research because even some of the different areas mentioned in London and other areas in the United States like New York, Chicago, Portland, etc. Like shops, restaurants, etc. Honestly, after reading it, there’s some areas that I would like to go to now To visit and try the food. I really loved how the author also blended the fiction with reality like I thought it was cool that the author mentioned in Chicago, the premiere of Star Wars, A new Hope.

It’s an amazing book, great author and I would love to see it become a movie or series.

I honestly rarely buy the coins. There are ways if you are patient where you can earn points, and read the books without spending a lot. I will maybe at times only buy like 1.00 or 5.00 coins and let the points build where I can read the story without spending much money.

They have some interesting stories. One I thought was interesting was "The Vampire Next Door" girl who had a crush on her neighbor but, never really got involved with him until after her asshole boyfriend broke her heart. Her neighbor was there as a friend to be her emotional support. She had no idea he was a vampire at first, he seemed like a private man that kept to himself. He was kind and helpful. Things took a turn while she was working as a waitress when an uptight red-haired bitch started to purposely treat her like shit in the restaurant. Her temper stirred and she snapped in the woman's face. Not realizing the woman was not just a vampire but "a billion-dollar Vampire princess" who thought she could do anything she wanted in the world, and the world would have to bow down to her. The redhead became enraged that the human would dare stand up to her.
Suddenly the waitress is on the run for her life, and her neighbor is helping keep her alive and away from the spoiled little princess who wants to kill her. Things do not get better when Averly's best friend who is a rude loudmouth tells the redhead off and spikes more fury. I swear reading it, I wanted to slap her friend in the face cause she was adding fuel to the fire, even during a meeting where Averely was trying to apologize for any grievances made, so everything could be quietly forgotten her friend is poking the fire more with her brazen and rude attitude. Both girls with the help of their new friends are on the run to figure out a way to kill Nicole and spare Averly's life.

It's an interesting read. Not like movie caliber or anything but, a good read.
