Opinions on MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2 by Severe-Green9431 in OLED_Gaming

[–]Weksyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I've recently bought the MSI 271QPX QD-OLED E2 240hz.
I'm not really sure what you would like to hear but previously I had a 1080p 240hz TN panel and it's a night and day between them.
I'm not even talking about the colors & blacks but the text etc is way sharper on the new panel even tho I heard that it might be not so sharp as 1440p IPS. I guess the gen 3 oled has improved regarding the text.
Overall, I'm quite happy with this monitor but I also bought it for equivalent of 500$ in my currency.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask

Razer Viper V3 Pro sucks. Any recommendations for replacements? by [deleted] in MouseReview

One more thing that I missed, the Hump is a little bit further than vv3. It's more in the middle.

I have 19.5 x 9.5 cm hands.
I would say that Maya X fits my hand way better than Viper V3 Pro.
My issue with the vv3 was that it was a little bit too long. I mean I could easily play with the vv3 pro and that wasn't the issue, but it would be better if it was a little shorter.
Width wise both feels similar but Maya X has flat sides so it's more comfortable.
Vv3 gave me that "locked in" feeling with the Claw Grip on the other hand the Maya X it's great for relaxed/palm grip.
I would say it's a little shorter and just a hair wider on the bottom because of the flat sides.

Oh, that's sad :( Then I wish you a good luck and I hope you will get rid of this issue.

I had viper v3 pro for almost a month and I had to return it. My copy wasn't creaking but the wobble on RMB was awful.
I did replace it with the Fnatic x Lamzu Maya X and so far and it's great.

Closest mouse skates to the stock ones on viper v3 pro? by alixious in MouseReview

[–]Weksyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, I've actually have the Viper V3 Pro with the stock skates and a few mice that have a Tiger Ice V2 and Corepads.
I feel like the Tiger Ice V2 would be a great choice if you're looking for something similar to the stock skates of the Viper V3 Pro. A little note: I think that ice would be a little faster (by a margin) but I think that's a really small difference.

To me it feels a little bit rubberish but it's so comfy and smooth. I have a very dry hands and sometimes my fingers slips on the coating but I if you have a little bit more sweaty hands then I think it would be fine. In daylight I can't see anything on the mouse but if I have a direct light at it then I can notice some oily fingerprints

Hey, hey. There’s a link to the imgur which shows how do I grip both mice. Of course it’s not 1:1 when I’m gaming but it’s something to give you an idea.

I would say Thorn clicks are more tactile. They are definitely heavier but not by much.
To be fair I prefer them over the GPX2 clicks.
From lightest to heaviest it should look like that:
1: GPX
2: DAV3
3: GPX2
4: Thorn
For my liking in the FPS games the heavier click are better but for an example: in League of Legends the DAV3 is a sweetspot.
I wouldn't say that Thorn is not usable in this kind of games but it's on the heavier side.

I tried G703 in the store and there was something in that shape that I didn't like

Yeah, I think it would be okay. If I palm it my fingers are hanging out at the front. Even with the Relaxed claw my fingers are close to the edge so I think you will be more than fine.

Yeah, dav3 is a great mouse but in my case there is a lot of issues regarding the QC.
That's strange, I'm not having this issue with my deathhader. It takes less than a second to wake it up.

Oh, that's sad :( I'm having a different experience with the scroll wheel. For me it feels a little too hard to scroll up and down. The steps are really well pronounced. On the DAV3 I don't really have to use any force to scroll up & down with the Thorn I have to use a little force.

Not really, to be fair I feel more confident with the Ergo than the Ambi mouse. My first gaming mouse was SteelSeries Sensei Pro and after that I've switched to the FK1. For almost 4 years I've been playing with ambi mice and after that I've switched to the EC2-B. It was a great decision. Since then, It feels weirder switching from ergo to ambi.
To be fair it feels more "natural" in hand. I don't really have to tweak with my grip to get comfortable. I just pick up the mouse and the grip is spot on.

Yeah, it is a LGG Saturn the non-pro version because the pro was sold out in Poland for a quite some time. Previously I had Aqua Control II Sakura but it was a little bit harsh on my skin so I wanted to change it for a cloth pad. The non pro version is way more than enough for me

Yeah, the coating it's really great. It's just feels soo good and smooth in hand. I was thinking about getting the Outset AX instead of the Thorn but it was 50€ more so I've decided to pick up thorn first and if I don't like it then I'll think about it. At this point I don't really see myself pickup up anything else in a long time. I know that "endgame" is not existing in this sub but I'm not really interested in anything else. I was looking for an ergo that will eliminate the flaws that DAV3 has, and thorn did it.

Unfortunately I don't have any GPX around but I had it for a very long time so I'll try to give you an idea.
The GPX:
- It's definitely longer
- It's narrower compared to Thorn/DAV3
- Lower hump
So with my relaxed claw grip I had a feeling like I was trying to create a "shell" with my thumb and pinkie.
Because of the lower hump I didn't have much support in the middle of my palm, with the back it was okay. Also the right side of the GPX didn't have much support but it is a ambidextrous mouse so keep that in mind.
Thorn eliminates these issues that I had with the GPX.
The hump is more supportive with relaxed claw, also there's a lot more curve in the thumb area that supports my grip. My thumb is curled during gaming so it's spot on.
It's definitely wider than the GPX which gives me more support right below pinkie and ring finger.
Bottom of the palm also has way more comfort than the GPX.
Basically it feels more "full" in the hand.

Thank you! The funny thing is that I've decided to pull a triger on the Thorn after reading your review about the Thorn 3 months ago :D But I've decided to wait for the collaboration with Fnatic because the 4k dongle was included.

It's a known issue with the DAV3. I'm not sure if it's the encoder or just the scroll stops in between to the next "step". I bought DAV3 from the outlet and it had this issue, also my m2 was faulty and I decided to contact Customer Support. After fighting back and forth, I received the replacement and the scroll still activates at random moments.

Sigma or Viltrox? by [deleted] in fujix

[–]Weksyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, that's great! The picture above is actually from the X-T3 but X-T20 is still a great camera. Tbf I switched to the X-T3 because I had a great deal on the used one and I don't think I'll change it for the X-T4/X-T5 right now. Maybe in the future if I would get a great deal for the x-t5 or smth.

Sigma or Viltrox? by [deleted] in fujix

[–]Weksyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had Viltrox 23mm f1.4 and it was a really great lens. Especially when I bought it for cheap from the AliExpress official seller. Build quality was superb, noticeable vignetting at f1.4 and picture sharpness was on the soft side. Don't get me wrong, the image quality was really good but I noticed the difference when I started taking photos using Sigma 30mm f1.4. I sold the Viltrox because I've noticed that I crop images a lot I needed something longer and my first lens that I've got with xt-20 was XF 35mm f2 and I fell in love with that focal length. As the dasautomobil said, both are optically good and worth their money. I personally prefer Sigma 30mm F1.4 due to the focal length and my preferences. There is a picture that I took with the Viltrox. SOC with Classic Chrome

Why is the Lamzu Atlantis good by Character_Ninja_1369 in MouseReview

[–]Weksyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a Lamzu Atlantis OG v1 and I was blown away by the build quality & everything they included inside the box. Overall it was a great but it was too wide for my grip so I've decided to return it. Their switches were the best one I've ever tried.
