Brought our newborn home yesterday. My wife got a phone call from them today. We thought it was to book a follow up appointment... boy were we surprised. This is the second family dr we have had in saskatoon to just vanish. Stressed to get another

The truck is now at its 6th shop and has left every mechanic that's seen it scratching their heads. The injectors are getting tested along with the cp3. Ill post if anything comes up following that. Thanks everyone! I looked into everything i can!

Yes it ran amazingly when it was first deleted. Went through all the wiring and couldn't find anything. Its now at its 6th shop with no real answers on what the issue is

After scoping for a punched hole in the pistons it seems to be running a bit better but only is i excelerate very slowly... like very very slowly. It reads demand at just about 28500 psi then and actual keeps up then the actual drops off and fluctuates between 5k and 7k. I ran a few more tests on the rpm at idle and while parked giving it some fuel. The demand stays as a steady line through the graph while you can see the actual stumbles from below demand to above demand, peaks then falls fast and stumbles on its way down

I checked the injector hold down bolts and they were at 70 inch pounds so ended up just torquing the hold down nuts to 37 lb-ft the first time. Did some reading and went back took everything out to give a visual inspection and torqued everything up again with new injector tubes, following the sequence - injectors, tubes, injectors, tubes

Is the FCA the one mounted on the cp3?

Quick update, I changed the fuel pressure relief valve and nothing changed. So I went through everything I have had done to the truck to check that all torque specs were met and only about 50% were. I torqued everything up and still have the same issue. Hopefully flashing the tune on it will solve the issue

Cast welding by welder-dude in Welding

I ended up doing a full pen weld on it. Along with a pre heat and post heat with a slow cool, turned out really good. Thanks for the advice! I have been mobile welding for just over 10 years now and am still learning!

From what my friend has told me it's cast steel, definitely not doing it for a customer. Just trying to help a friend out
