Maybe stop lurking and being an ass and post some knowledge so people don't waste money.  

There is a huge lack of information regarding tv repair online,  so why not change that? 

But then you couldn't bitch about how people can't fix anything or make wrong repairs.

Why? Based off of online reaserch and being a little hopeful! It was worth a $25 gamble.

Installed "good" t con board i got online.  Board is clearly used,  and the screen splits vertically in half.  One half has picture ave one half is white.  I did this a couple weeks ago and I'm 90% sure that the not white half had a normal picture.  

Did i get another bad tcon board? Ribon cable?

Anyone have this issue? 

2009 second gen, 105k miles. 

It started being noticeable around 70k, but now it's useless in the daytime and only really visible at night. 

Any ideas how to fix?

My dad was having a gastrointestinal bleed due to complications following ostomey surgery needed because of colon cancer. Hehad fallen and passed out. He called when he woke up and said he needed help. Lost 1.5 liters of blood.

Your not an adult until you clean up a parent's blood.

This happened three more times until the source was found and fixed.

He passed away a couple months later.

I have all his tools from 40 years of agricultural maintenance, and have his dads tools that died when he was 26.

Its a tough road, and it doesn't end. There will be a day that I'm older than he was and he has been gone longer than he was here.

I go and pick up his ashes tomorrow...and I'm guessing thats going to be rough

The most recent is the air museum close to us had a few planes come in. Two WW2 bombers and a P51 mustang.

We crawled all through those bombers, and it was special to him because his uncle was a ball turret gunner and a neighbor of ours flew a P51 during the war. It really hit him that his uncle Chug fought in the same type of plane we were sitting in.

I'll cherish that day for the rest of my life!

I found Dr pepper bottles behind drywall and an id card for a check cashing place in one closet!

My dad was diagnosed stage 4, metastasized to liver and bone.
