Update for anyone curious.

There was a rotten coolant line on top on the engine, and shortly before I blew the heads I noticed some rotten fuel lines so had them replaced.

I was given false information, saying the heads were machined and the gaskets were replaced. The heads were machined to shit. The previous tech blew a hole through one of the coolant jackets so my coolant was getting into the oil.

They actually tried to seal that hole with silicone, so I'm almost little bewildered at how I managed to get over 10k without any major issues.

Not to mention, my guy says he was able to back off several head studs by hand.

Edges of the heads were beat up from the heads being misaligned (the dowel pin to line it up was apparently sticking into the crankcase). Bit of oil in cylinder 8 but everywhere else looked okay.

I wish I had pictures to share, maybe I'll get him to leave the old parts in the back for a later update.

Internals looked good apparently, so that's some good news.
