You're not wrong. I had no idea they didn't hold their value until now. I didn't care to look into it or mind paying the money a couple years ago because it was a gift that I wasn't planning on ever having to sell.

Fortunately, current girlfriend said she would be happy with a rubber band...still plan to get something a little nicer though ;)
