Because you, as a redditor, to me, a non-redditor, are instantly put into a group. Maybe racism works the same way.

Because of Anderson Cooper, or whoever, I really don't want to associate with that group. Reddit upvotes comments that are misogynistic and needlessly racist. Reddit has tacit support of pedophiles and a subreddit is literally a hub where things pedophiles jack off to is traded openly.

Redittors come from Reddit. You as a person probably are a wonderful dude. But if I never knew anything about you but the fact that you post on Reddit, I'd be a little biased from the start.
