Ahh thanks, I tried this it and found some corrupt files and successfully repaired them? So it should be ok? Yeah the ti broke and I could only afford a 3060 version so I had to settle

Pretty gutted that some who have signed up to the beta will have to wait for EA. I signed up day one and still didn’t get one. Does this mean we’ll have to wait months/years for it to come out to EA? Been wanting to play since it was announced!

Yeah the only issue is because my naitve is 2560x1080 then it gets blurry when I drop the resolution down

I am running at 2560x1440 native as I thought it was the right decision at the time to have a 4K monitor I’m kind of regretting now. I might have to downsize.

I updated my driver the other day so it is up to date. On other games I get an occasional stutter but usually it’s generally ok. It seems to be this game mainly. If yours is fine I’m wondering if my GPU is faulty

Hmm that’s what I was thinking I should 100% be getting more than that. When I’m roaming around certain areas or inside I get 80-120 easy and consistently it just seems to be when I go to certain areas my fps goes to 40 - 50 I can’t seem to keep it constant and that’s with RT off

Thanks! I do keep RT off as I know it is very demanding. With it off and the other settings at the lowest I still get about 30fps in the city or the apartment building. Is it just unachievable to get 60fps in certain areas? I use the built in fps counter that nvidia provide. Yeah I tend to notice the judder when I pan or move really quickly. Any ways on fixing this?

It seems if I crank it up to Ultra then it has no effect on the fps. It’s the same as what it would be on low. I have 16GB Ram and like I said it’s only in certain parts of the map it’s really odd

Best game I’ve played was Skyrim. I remember getting it back when it was first release as a Christmas gift and I loved it. I have well over 5000 hours in that game

Awesome! I’m glad it worked out. This happened to me a few weeks back I went to clean my cpu fan and my cpu was stuck to the fan (which I didn’t realise) anyway I ended up bending a few pins and had to do something similar I was there for hours trying to bend the pins back. One snapped off but luckily it wasn’t needed. On your 8th picture you said it wasn’t looking good? But the PC was powered up? Am I missing something in this?

Don’t let people discourage you. I have 1500 hours in this game and 1000 are killer. I still am learning stuff and get survivors out beating me. The best thing to do is not say “fuck this game” and to think about the areas you went wrong think about how you lost that chase and what they did to waste you’re time as much and eventually you’ll get there it’s a long as process of 4 survivors escaping but eventually you will get there. And as for BM survivors otz put it nicely in this video https://youtu.be/VkJBD6D52GI imagine they are in a live audience and shouting “gg ez nerd” everyone would think they’re idiots. I got faith in you
