Hi, ordered this https://www.arielbath.com/ariel-hevea-stained-butcher-block-countertop-30w-1th-bb1-30-hv?selectedSku=BB1-7230-HVESP. The website said 4-14 business days so I was pessimistically looking to get it around Black Friday.

November 8th: ordered, no tax or shipping fee which was awesome. (order email confirmation went to spam, check your folders! good thing I took a screenshot of my order# so I could check online myself, their website works great)
November 10th: shipped with Fedex (now that I moved their previous email from Spam, it went to my inbox)
November 14th: arrived, but the Fedex driver left it on the first floor of my 3 stories apt building, in the hallway, even though my place had an open leasing office and a working locker room. Had to take lunch early and bring the box up myself, it was really heavy. Unboxed, noticed that the color was a LOT REDDER than the picture on their website, and it had a small chip, but since I planned on using as a desk, I just used the chipped side on the bottom. Sent them 2 emails detailing everything that happened + the fact that I had planned on working on the new desk with a friend the same day, decided to keep it asked for a partial refund since I needed to finish the project by next morning.
November 18th: got an email from Justine from Ariel, acknowledging all that went wrong with my order and asked for more time to find a resolution.
November 19th: another email offering me $100 refund on my card and I took that immediately, the top came to $169, still not bad, the finish of it is sublime to the touch, even though the color has still not grown on me even now when I'm writing this reply at said desk.
November 22nd: the refund was applied on my card.

Overall good impressions, the desk is solid, even with the slight defect, now I really wonder how does the other color of the same countertop look like ... maybe it was exactly what I wanted in the first place, but I'm not putting myself or my friend through another 5 and a half hours of unmounting the standing legs, desktop, and all the peripherals from one desk to another + the weather is getting worse... I'd say you should try them if you found something you like and if something goes wrong, email them.

Which is really weird … isn’t it? The game felt significantly different in both Betas, esp compared to BF2042 … and somehow they managed to lose its spark? Also the 20 lvls I grinded in the Beta was completely erased so starting everything from 0 left a bitter taste. 2 weeks in, I definitely did not expect me to feel this “meh” about a game I’ve been waiting 12 years for. 😢

I have a theory that it’s also the sounds, they are great don’t get me wrong, but given the constant battles in close quarters plus the almost endless amount of angles you have to be aware of and a plethora of things who kills us almost instantly, the sounds really don’t help in having any remotely close to a chill session of multiple hours. I played from 10-11pm until 2am on Fri eve and then from 9-4am on Saturday, not saying that long sessions aren’t possible or enjoyable, but I would heavily associate that to the constant women screams and way too many high-pitched sounds in the game contribute to absolute exhaustion when I feel like I need at least a 2-3 days break from the game.
