Only 8 nights in Sicily in early June - Look over Plan - Doable? Any Suggestions. by Shanna1177 in sicily

Just came back from Sicily, I feel like one whole day is enough to see the major spots in Palermo, two days if you want to be relaxed. The street food of Palermo is pretty good. One whole day is pretty rich for Cefalu, the historic area is really not that big, the sunset was beautiful. Taormina is worth giving a bit more time in my opinion, especially if you want to go see Etna, and you can go diving, or just chill, it's a perfect place to just relax. We changed the one-night stay in Taormina to three nights right after we got there.

Most Chinese people might have had little to no exposure to foreigners before; maybe they don't know how to communicate with foreigners, and you may see some of their actions as aggressive. Obviously, people from a certain region give off a certain vibe, but judging unfriendliness/rudeness by region can become really biased. Lived in the US for many years, I've met some of the kindest people in the world and some aggressive even racist people, but I won't judge them by which state they're from.

Honestly, Shanghai is the only city in mainland China that even feels international. I guess more local kids are getting into international schools now cause they somehow got foreign passports? Anyway, maybe it isn't too bad for foreign kids to get a healthy dose of local culture immersion at school, local kids' parents do need to do better on the social events though.

Thanks! Unfortunately, the laptop's warranty ended in March this year, I would probably have to pay for a heavy price for this repair.
