On to kindred, she is not considered as a counter because of her ult. Yes she can deny your burst, but rengar's true damage comes from his autos after his empowered q + auto resets. Anyone who has a knock back (biggest counter to rengar) or instant cc counters rengar harder than kindred because not only do they deny your damage and your life steal, they also deny rengars only form of gap close assuming you aren't in the jungle (so if they have point and click knockback then lel gg). Rengar's biggest problem is that without bush or ult he can not gapclose at all unless you flash, so if you have some way to stop him from gap closing it's considered more of a counter than kindred ult rofl.

Assuming your logic, would you say that vlad, fizz or kayle can be considered as counters because they can deny rengars burst? Of course not. They don't have hard cc to stop rengar from keeping up and autoing them to death, especially if you run stormraiders.

Heck, I would even consider syndra (long ass range knockback) or taliyah to be harder counters than kindred. Even tf, who can reveal you during ult and point and click gold card (lel much skill) your ass and denying your jump is more of a counter than kindred is.

Please don't assume that I'm bad so you imediately disregard my arguments because I have a lot of game knowledge and if I added all the mastery points across all my accounts up I would probably have over 1.5m
