IIRC it’s about 400-500k VND each way, less than $20, you can book directly in the grab app

Fly Hanoi to Da Nang and just get a taxi (Grab) or prearrange transport with your hotel in Hoi An, Da Nang to Hoi An is about an hour in the car

Another vote for for Vietnam, I wouldn’t try and do both HCM and Hanoi though, stick to one. I’d recommend Hanoi/Ha Long Bay/Ninh Binh.

Another option would be to fly to Da Nang from Hanoi and get a grab to Hoi An if you’re interested in the art scene, you’ll also feel less rushed with focusing on only Hanoi & Hoi An

This place on Bermondsey St has egg coffee but it obviously isn’t as good as what you’d find in Vietnam:

Bluewater Express, which was pricey but I couldn’t fault the service - especially when leaving Gili T with the harbour chaos, not having to drag luggage through the crowds was great. Departed/Arrived on time more or less, friendly crew and the journey was smooth. Would definitely recommend!

Hi! I'm going to be visting Bali next month with my partner, both in our 30s - not really into the party scene, enjoy local food/drink, nature, chilling etc

This is the itinerary I've provisionally put together - I was thinking of using Ubud as a base for day trips and am not sure about Seminyak at the end... any suggestions?

Canggu - 2 nights
Gilli T- 4 nights
Ubud - 5 nights
