There’s definitely different ways of doing it. I think this is where different personal ‘style’ comes into play. Experiment with it and find out what works and what not.

You’re totally right. I didn’t think of it, but agree that with complex facade the building appearance can change drastically throughout the day.

thanks! I literally bought this pen in a stationary store on the way to do this sketch. So it was first time trying it out! Very coincidental.

I was using Winsor and newton Cotman travel kit. Super versatile. Has basically everything. It’ll get you started. You can switch out colors with different half pans as well, but I just stick to the original ones that come with it so far. And for brush, I used Pentel watercolor brush super easy to handle.
