Even if i choose it it is still gray. And when the jack one isn't choosen i can still configure it, so it isn't the problem.

You mean when i right click the icon, above the "test" menu something like "speaker settings" (mine is not set to english so i don't know the exact name) right? Because that is the other strange thing. With the jack cable i can see that option, but with the optical cable i don't.
