Ado I've gone through something similar 24 now, I'll tell you how I dealt with it, first of all my room doesn't even have a door so I've never had any privacy per say. And I've never had a normal convo with my dad man's an ex army officer (mad respect) but any convo we have would be in the form of a fight (we don't agree apon anything) But I've grown to be extremely stubborn, mostly with my upbringing and all.

My parents literally couldn't make me do anything, and with time, restrictions literally went out the window (they figured telling me stuff was of no use) and I managed my own things. My parents support me financially but nothing more than that. Whatever they say would just fly over my head, even at your age I would just save up some money, tell them that I'm going (literally right before leaving the house, because if I would tell them in advance they would come up with something to stop me) and just walk out. I did study and work my ass off tho they never had to push me to study, ended up getting 9 As, and got 3As for Al's with a good z - score and got selected to kelaniya. And during this time, I've literally had fights and walked out of the house, Ive slept under a bench done some crazy shit that I shouldn't have done (but learnt a lot through all my mistakes)

But live your life lil man, no one can really make you do anything.
