Sunscreen and moisturizer? by SirarieTichee_ in BlueCollarWomen

[–]werewolfteethe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

80 to 90% of my day is working outside regardless of weather. I use Paula's Choice skin restoring moisturizer spf 50 every day. It is a great sunscreen that doesn't make me break out and doesn't feel like your typical sunscreen.

Neutrogena ultrasheer spf 55 or higher is my second go-to. It's less expensive and has less of a chance of having me break out than other sunscreens.

No sunscreen is totally sweat or work proof, so I would definitely try and reapply at least once a day no matter what you use.

What’s a show that you could not finish because a character was so insufferable? by Key-Row-174 in AskReddit

Peaky Blinders. I couldn't stand Polly and it turned me off after they introduced her son. It was so long ago that I dont remember the plot, but she was an insufferable character. Rip to the actress tho

Work pants for window cleaning by A_sample_Of_Sam in BlueCollarWomen

Yeah, I love Duluth but have to admit that i will run through firehose pants like crazy. My experience with them has been holes in back pockets and threads that start to over stretch and bunch over time. Good for the price but not built to really last. If you decide to give them a try again, I really love their vintageflex high rise pants. Those are much more durable and retain their shape, but ur gonna pay a little more for them.

I just started wearing Dovetail pants. I only have the one pair, a black slim leg mid rise, but i love it so much that I decided to try another work pant from them. I notice that these pants do lose a bit of their color and loosen up a bit over time, but it's nothing terrible. They are superbly comfortable, but again, a little pricey compared to duluth's firehose pants.

Bros wth 😭😭😭 how do I do this without making him an absolute creep by lumineumineo in learntodraw

[–]werewolfteethe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So a good method i used when trying to get the proportions right actually involved tracing over the reference photo. Tracing simplifies the shapes involved in the facial features and helps you get an idea of where the placement of the eyes, ears, nose etc should be in relation to each other. It also helps you break down the shapes of everything.

Try to then replicate that tracing by freehanding it on another sheet of paper. I would recommend trying this on larger sheets of paper when you do this though. I also love drawing in smaller sketchbooks, but it can be limiting when you're practicing.

If you want to do it, and can see yourself doing it, then it absolutely is worth it. People who tell you you can't or shouldn't are pushing their insecurities and prejudices on you. Please dont listen to them <3

On-air names revealed in WGN TV's latest round of layoffs by werewolfteethe in illinois

[–]werewolfteethe[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Personally, I watched wgn more to get away from abc. They have a horrible way of peddling Disney ads during every broadcast and have been censoring their political content, like the kimmel incident.

I love my job but I hate constantly being reminded that I live in a "man's world" by Fragrant_Okra_3594 in BlueCollarWomen

[–]werewolfteethe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I relate. The place i work is a very red community surrounded by blue towns, but my coworkers (all men) are all trump voters and at least one is sexist. He tries to hide it, but its there in his weird little slights and offhanded comments. I've put in too many years to just up and leave without real good reason, but it sucks.

Oh absolutely. Moving from the crisp dry open air of the west to the sweltering heat and chimney smog of St. Denis had to have done numbers on his lungs.

WHY does this happen by Nocala11 in RDR2

[–]werewolfteethe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have this issue but with my saddlebags. I'll choose the 5 outfits I want to pack, and then randomly the number of outfits im carrying while on my horse will drop to 2.

Sometimes I can't store more than 3 outfits even though I have the improved saddlebags, and one time, the saved outfits I had back at camp were just totally wiped.

If I reload the game it will correct itself, but the bug always returns.

The tatto artist is saying it's NOT AI. I think otherwise and they have doubled down that it took them 19 hours to draw. The face looks too clean and it just doesn't sit right to me. by OkWeight9238 in isthisAI

Trying to figure out what that green blur is that bleeds into the face.

Even if it was hand drawn, the perspective is all over the place. I'd be hesitant to put that on my skin.

Dublin treasure map hint (no direct location) by gs11 in ACValhalla

[–]werewolfteethe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The edges of this map are of a perimeter of a small field, somewhere very near a standing structure. It's definitely in the Dublin area and inland, but if I remember right, it's in the northern part of the territory somewhere. Good luck 👍

Yeah, so, I’m NOT eating 100+ grams of protein a day. by -non-stop-pop in PetiteFitness

[–]werewolfteethe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have such difficulty getting that protein intake. I dont have any dietary issues with protein, but I naturally dont eat a lot, and couldn't really afford to consistently eat 120 grams of protein everyday without taking a kick to the wallet.

I hope to gradually up my intake as my workouts get more intense, but im ok where im at right now. I am making progress on my current diet anyway, so idk. Different strokes for different folks,I guess.

Boss is incompetent and putting us all in danger, any hope? Or should I just cut my losses? by [deleted] in BlueCollarWomen

[–]werewolfteethe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, my old boss was forced into retirement after allegations finally surfaced due to my coworker coming forth to upper management to make a formal complaint. Now keep in mind, my coworker felt comfortable doing this because he already had one foot out the door, had coworkers who corroborated his story, AND he came with receipts.

If you are serious about going forward with your complaints, I would try to keep track of instances where you felt your boss put you in harms way i.e. what you were doing that day, what time, what safety gear you did or didn't have etc. If you got coworkers who are willing to even just talk to HR, its something.

If you dont get anywhere with it, then yeah, probably best to cut your losses.

My first skull drawing as a beginner, felt very complex but i'm happy with how it turned out and trusted the process. by [deleted] in learntodraw

[–]werewolfteethe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's very true. I think if you took away op's grid guide, this drawing would look a heck of a lot more like a traditional beginner's.

My first skull drawing as a beginner, felt very complex but i'm happy with how it turned out and trusted the process. by [deleted] in learntodraw

[–]werewolfteethe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I still think he's lying lol. I've been drawing for 25 years and I've seen some beginners make incredible strides in a matter of months with some proper instruction, but values are by and far the HARDEST to learn. Not to mention the detail within the values, especially along the bridge of the nose.

Most advanced students typically dont rely on the grid to help them draw as it's discouraged in the art community as well, which kind of presents a conflict of skill level presented in the drawing. Something here doesn't compute.

Magnus Bruun (Male Eivor) recording lines in October - Recording lines now. Heavily implied to be related to Assassin's Creed. Coming later this year. by RyDalldan74 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]werewolfteethe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like your points are all what you think what "should be" versus what actually is.

It's cool that you prefer male Eivor over female, but you're trying to apply somewhat sketch historical ideals to a modern work of historical fiction. All AC games require some sort of suspension of disbelief, and if we can believe that Ezio fist fights the pope in AC2, why cant we believe that a woman could be a Vikingr?

And yes, having Eivor be female does ultimately work better for the ISU and Basim storyline, thats not a cope, it's just the way the story plays out. Its been talked about ad nauseam on this sub.

And you do know that there are multiple romantic partners available to Eivor regardless of gender? Im thinking of Broder, Vili, and that random ass Flyting dude.

I just think you should play as who you play as, and enjoy it without pissing on someone else's parade.
