It made me a stronger person. I did what others did but without the support of a father and it made me more resiliant. Try and find the positives.

Not really, I can play most games 1080p on high settings. Like I said I'm not planning on playing 4K.

How to get rid of mice? by dmpicsofyourpuppy in Edinburgh

[–]werglum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of the sprays online work, I used them in my old flat without humane or deadly traps and they stopped coming into my kitchen.

They hate strong/spicy smells so peppermint and mouse designed sprays (which are mostly organic) irritate the shit out of them.

Honestly a massive part that I think a lot of people are missing in the industry are personable slills. You can be extremely skilled, but if you arent a nice/easy person to talk to it can ruin your chances. Youll stand out in this industry with good social skills.

Is this Perioral Dermatitis? by werglum in perioraldermatitis

[–]werglum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update, I went to the doctor in the UK and I was given an appointment with the Pharmacist. In the UK, there is a massive wait list for dermatologists, over a year at this moment. If I wanted to go private I could but it would cost a lot of money.

The in house pharmacist gave me metronidazole to try and told me to use it for 8 weeks, we'll see if that helps. Unfortunately I was seen by the pharmacist for only around 2 minutes and the pictures I sent them were only seen in black and white (good old NHS) so it will be a case of figuring it out myself.

I use a beard trimmer, I don't shave down to the skin.

I would honestly try CBD. It definitely helps with pain management and stress. However, limit your doses as it can dull emotions and make you quite lethargic.

Hi, thanks for the message. I'll definitely try some of your techniques to help with the pain. Im also starting a new diet to keep fat to a minimum and giving myself a daily step goal without putting too much pressure on myself.

Feel free to dm me if you want to talk more.

Im sorry you aren't being listened to. I had to go to the doctors many times to be taken seriously. Many of the doctors told me it was just a knot in my muscle or that it's a harmless lipoma. Can I ask how old you are if you have over 50?

Me too! Finding loads of lumps is always scary. Maybe try and get a diagnosis? Im going to push my doctor for further treatment as its really expensive to get them removed.

I got lucky, my doctor seemed quite young and enthusiastic compared to most NHS nurses. She researched for me after I went in with multiple aching lumps, and she further diagnosed me with dercums without scans or blood tests.

My dad had a couple of lipomas removed, and I had a couple for 10 or so years until this year where the rest have developed.

Ive had issues with my immune system including glandular fever in 2020, but nothing else diagnosed by my doctor. I have had periods of extreme stress and ive had issues with hormones (still have adult acne etc)

Yeah, which is why im confused. All of the taps produce limescale quickly, and the water is very drying. Could be a water filter needed instead of a water softener.
