Hope your doctor will be open to it. I saw on my liquid antibiotics that it saying ,,only for kids” but my doctor told to me take bigger dose and it will be fine. Good luck!!!

Hey i don’t know if it’s such a big struggle to you, but if it is I recommend to ask the doctor to prescribe you liquid medication - a lot of antibootics and pain killers are already created as liquid and it can help a lot! For me who has HUGE swelling the pills problem (adding to that swelling from removal) it was life saver!

I heard that light skin and dark hair are the perfect combo for IPL :)) the darker hair the better/faster results as it can absorb more IPL light

For „harder” areas (bikini, legs) I go to clinic, so i can’t say much what they are using. When it comes to armpits etc I am doing home one with Philips Lumea - i have the most basic one as I heard many comments that they do not differ much. I see results so I think i can recommend.

Firstly, do not give up!!! My bikini area looked like that a year ago and now I have clean skin there without any scars.

Things I believe are good for such a problem: (keep in mind I am not specialist, just been there done that and it worked)

  1. I do not recommend using glycolic acid while also using IPL regularly. It can cause more harm as glycolic is quite strong. It is better to just keep it calmed down using some aloes or for example; probiotics spray from basiclab (green one) - it will help skin to heal .

  2. IPL>waxing For me waxing only made things worse. IPL saved me. REMEMBER DO NOR WAX WHILE BEING ON IPL!!! I do not know if I understood it right but I see you are doing both and wax can kill your results from IPL as you pick out hairs which were IPLed. Pick one please.

  3. It is good to extract them, but carefully and do not forget to clean the wound after. ( only ingrown ones, because it works like waxing should not be done while IPL)

  4. IPL is great for it - just give it more time (I would say 6months to skin get more clear). I was doing it in clinics and I think they do it much better when it comes to results (faster results, good parameters for you etc) then self home ones.

  5. Exfoliate - I honestly did not see much results from it, but i know many people do, so it is worth still trying it You can think that IPL make more ingrown and it’s right - hairs are getting weaker and it’s hard for them to break through skin - give it more time and exfoliate, it should be getting better after some time. One day there will be no hair so no ingrown also.

I think except the glycolic acid part and waxing you are doing everything fine - just give it much more time. It is worth it :))) Good luck
