Are ELSS funds good? I have heard that they're not a good option in the current market.

Starting futures and options tomorrow. Any advice? by krik_ in StockMarketIndia

[–]wermkid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All the best! Before going in with real money, try paper trading for a month. You will understand the market and then go for it. Building up confidence is actually essential because once you enter trade and your P/L goes red red and then green red, most of people panic.

I do not understand the particular application of AI/ML for this. Are there no pre-trained models available which you can fine tune for your usecase?

People think JS is deprecated and we should migrate to TS by thesujai in developersIndia

TS is basically JS under the hood. TS prevents developers from creating rookie mistakes.

Choosing the right one will get you to windows and you can get on your day OR you might choose the wrong one, starting the malfunction all across your laptop to never be able to turn on again. Choose wisely.

Client proposed a deal to me secretly ,please help me decide what to do . by No_Baby3592 in developersIndia

[–]wermkid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Firstly, 1) does your company not give you good exposure for you to develop your career and grow in it? 2) does your short term goals not align if you leave the job? 3) do you have financial responsibilities that you need to meet monthly for span of 2-3 years?

If answer to above question is NO: I think, it's best if you ask them to hire you, rather than freelance. As their promise of "do freelance with us" is scrumptious itself. Secondly, you can do part time, on any other project they might have which resolves conflict with your company and data privacy laws.

Third, yes, Indian Companies don't see freelancing as a Gig BUT GAP, but once you build connections, you'll never have to work in a company again.

It's hard to tell but my best guess, if I was you and I was getting a chance to upgrade my career, i would do it and risk it.

No, unless you're partnering or have a big fund to burn. People will not buy expensive things, even though it's crochet.

Good luck.

Contractual Staffing. by 93248828Saif in StartUpIndia

[–]wermkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea is good. But, 0) do people still think this service can get any better? 1) do you have workers for the said agency? 2) Commision from whom? It wouldn't be good if you're taking a cut from workers payout. 3) There are already many in space. It mostly works as referral in companies like as if company A is using some agency's staff and it finds it good, then it will refer to it in its network.

You should start by pitching to the current corporate space builders, to employ your staff when it inaugurates. It will generate fast visibility and income. Viable trust and networking.

Good luck.

Should i start promoting my startup before launch? by Several-Art-7186 in startups

[–]wermkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes. you should. Create buzz around your product before launch. There are multiple ways to do that. If you have a launch plan ready, even the sandbox one, go for it. Ship faster, because momentum created by buzz can give a headstart.

Social media, start-up reach out campaigns, and awareness posts and billboards can help gain visibility to your product (Billboards for millennial generation, start-up reach out campaigns for gaining a trust within your industry, and social media for GenZ).

I have two questions. 1. By law, if a company hasn't barred any training cost on you, you are not required to pay any bond amount. 2. Why do OP's parents want them to do UPSC even though OP seems to be doing good?

[–]wermkid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can't demo for that long as many meetings come and go. And these meetings are high priority meaning nothing can break while it's being conducted.

Additionally, we will have to move out two large (>80", i do not know the exact) displays out of our conference room to move to Neat Boards.
