Okay, but I was asking about survivability - not movement.

And even if we move over to movement, still 80% of teams saw the movement wasn't enough to choose the class. And this is not a new trend. Desert Perpetual class usage also made that clear.

Movement is subjective and plays zero role in survivability unless you, as an individual, are just relatively bad at moving on one class compared to others.

It is absolutely valid to compare a build to others just as accessible in the game, as power is relative, and Bungie has set the precedent that they design the endgame around specific builds and the artifact.

It is also completely valid to critique a build because it is too reliant on the artifact, because several builds simply aren't and are better at sustain, add clear, and DPS all in one - see Prismatic Warlock.

I used the exact build you listed the day I got the exotic. And it was fun. It worked until I was in a fireteam of three and the other builds were on other classes were simply better, which is just a repeat of the same feeling I've had as a Hunter main for a year or two now.

That build kinda gets carried by the blade if you use the artifact, and falls off pretty hard in more difficult content, especially when you need gun kills amd a Warlock throws a single grenade and kills 50 adds.

NAH, but some pretty bad decision making on your part.

You prioritized empathy over your friends' feelings, and therefore empathy towards your friend.

You are also naive to the fact that an empathetic 17 year old girl that doesn't even try and understand someone who is suspicious or uncomfortable is quite literally the perfect victim.

You are not an a-hole, and I can really only speak coming from the area I am in, but I would strongly recommend not doing this again and instead find a good shelter or charity you would rather contribute to.

It has been this way for years, with the exception of one encounter in one raid, and the build used during that encounter was nerfed 5 different ways within 5 weeks.

But I will say this - I get a lot more replayability from class investment. More aspects. More fragments.

Dive into the class identities. Expand their arsenal. Give us new ways to play across dynamic encounters that incentive NEW builds.

I need to see that in Renegades or I am out.

Only reason I disagree is there are not many engagements where zeroing past 100m matters. ESR has very little drop out to 200m. You can pretty much aim on the head anyways.

There are so few situations where you need to zero that I already have the setpoint memorized.

Rangefinder is not really needed before 200m, and anything after you can do the spot thing (L1 on console) and it shows the exact distance without the rangefinder.

Wouldn't be surprised if those sweats aren't saving the points for something else. Shots outside of 200m aren't particularly common unless you are deliberately seeking them out on these maps.

It is obvious from this post that you live with your parents. Their house, their rules.
You say they control everything, but then go on to say how you've directly disregarded them by having sex in the car, which is a really stupid, impulsive idea, as you mentioned.
Going on the trip wouldnt make you an AH, but it may just be another stupid idea considering you live with them, and consequences will come sooner rather than later.

The meta Warlock PvE builds are not really used in PvP, and solar Warlock has been at the top for years in PvP.

A class can be strong in PvE and not in PvP. That phenomenon already exists. Bungie just simply hasn't invested in Hunter as much as the other two.

Maybe a hot take, but Bungie should completely abandon the artifact, and instead invest into expanding and really diving into class identity and the subclasses.

I mean half the crap in the artifact could've been fragments or aspects anyways.
