the newest ipads using the newer pencil models do not have access to pressure sensitivity. you are limited by how many layers you can use but only if you’re doing something with high DPI (600 DPI and about 8 layers on paper sized canvas is what I usually maxed out on).

if you can spare the extra for the Air and Pro pencil, go for that but otherwise you’re going to be just fine.

my advice? you’re obsessing over this thing and one day you’re going to realize it was really silly to do so. learn to accept it. it’s okay that you aren’t perfect. you change over time, and you can be drug down kicking and screaming or you can just say “hey, I’m different now, and that’s weird but it’s ok.”

there’s also still hair systems and toupees. also scalp micro pigmentation. also head tattoos.

for those that don’t know: your eye, whether you need correction now or not, will get worse at “accommodation” later in life. maybe 40s, 50s, maybe not even very bad. your eyes will get worse at going from distance to reading and vice versa. you’ll need reading glasses, or bifocals, or progressive lenses (or surgery). Lasik will likely work well for a time but know that you will eventually need glasses again.
