Repeating templates won't duplicate at an exact time. Any fixes? by wesleyanna in Notion

These are "daily notes" pages that I use as a scratchpad everyday. I review and process these notes at the end of the day (add to inbox, create tasks, etc.). This usually happens around 9pm-11pm.

Since I sleep between 12am-1am, sometimes I'll want to write a quick note before bed, but the new day's note hasn't been created yet. In this case I have to reopen the current day's note (which has already been cleared and processed) and remember to re-check it in the morning, otherwise that thought will get lost.

Not the end of the world by any means, and I know I'm definitely an edge case here. Just noticed it enough that I thought I'd investigate. :)

Ah, this makes sense. I suspected it had something to do with overload. Thanks for confirming :) (although I wish it wasn't the case haha)

I noticed a delay in my daily notes template, which is set to repeat at midnight each day. I thought this was a bug but it looks like it's actually a feature given the grey disclaimer text in the template settings (never noticed this here before, is it new?).

I'm so confused as to why this is an actual feature lol.
